Chapter 1
This story is set in 2066. The ultra modern world. Cyber City is the technology central of the world. Being the most advanced place in the world. Technological developments happening here day in, day out. Life is pretty hectic in Cyber City with human and machine, side by side, pacing up and down the street to reach deadlines. Today was is no different from the other days. Well besides that beggar, who resides at the most sophisticated alley, a beggar's paradise. With heated pavements, solar powered holotv and a thermal waterbed.
Anyway today that beggar took one of his prized garbage can and climbed on it to elevate himself to give out a prophecy, he claimed. Few people gathered around the beggar and the rest just passed by as usual. He said,
Today most of us, we will be reaping what we planted early than expected. Take a look at the faces beside you. Look at them long and carefully. Today, for most, will be the last day you will see them. So cherish them. A great era is coming to an end, but not all bad. Better is yet to come, but greed and jealousy would once again undo the brilliant works of intellectuals. Till the special one arrives and restores peace.
Known for his larking ways, the people didn't actually take into consideration to what the beggar prophesied. They just carried on with their own businesses, with no thought for fellow man. This is a usual sight in Cyber City. Where people tend to be 'too busy' to ever notice fellow men.
Meanwhile, at the Research Centre. Dr. James Watson, a local astronomer, discovered that two UFOs from space were approaching the earth slowly. Being a believer in extraterrestrial lifeforms, he believed that the UFOs were alien spaceships heading for Earth. Anticipation overwhelming Dr. Watson, waiting for the visitors outside his office. Little did he know that those UFOs would come for a totally different reason and impact the Earth forever.
As dusk set in, there seem to be a heavy storm setting in. The clouds and skies turned into a bright magical orange-reddish colour. With no signs of rain
