About this ebook

"Good morning, class. Today we are going to learn about Earthlets."

In this way Dr Xargle, our friendly alien teacher, begins to teach his class about humans and babies.

This is a hysterically funny book, with a particularly wry look at the way we bring up babies: look out for the 'egg-mangle' - will you ever want to eat egg again?

Dr. Xargle gives his perspective on human babies, including how to feed them and diaper them.

Media: Water ColorGenre: Science FictionReview: This book is an awesome example of a funny science fiction book because it takes place in space but is talking about "earthlets" or babies. As Professor Xargle begins to explain about babies he looks at them in an alien perspective. It is quite humorous how all of the body parts and habits are explained.

Not quite as funny as the hype, but a great way to get kids to look again at everyday things - this is how babies, and their care giving procedures, look to naive ETs... how might, say school, or autos, look? So, yes, it's def. SF....
