About this ebook

A new president and a new Administration are always going to change the face of American politics and have an impact on American life. After watching Donald Trump take on the title of Commander and Chief of the USA and leader of the Free World, I had to comment on his incompetence for the job.
Unfortunately, he is not the type of president who should be in power in the 21st Century. He is much more like a king who lived in 17th Century Europe.

I was born in Cincinnati and grew up in the American Mid-West. I graduated from the University of Notre Dame and received a Masters in Education from the University of Cincinnati. I became a teacher and found a job teaching English and Film and Television at Trinity Bay State High School in Cairns, Australia. As a teacher I wrote many One Act Plays that students enjoyed performing in. I became the Rugby coach at the school and began writing novels that my students could read, relate to and understand. I decided to publish the novels under the name of Teen Friendly Books. At present I have 24 written and 15 published. My plan is to write many more books for teens to read and enjoy.

    April 2019

For over three years I have been shaking my head in disgust as I watched the reign of King Donald the First plunge America into chaos. I sadly witnessed its citizens modelling his behaviour of incivility, impoliteness, lack of respect and vulgarity. That is not the America that I know and admire.

    Chapter 1

    King Donald the First

For over three years I have sat in Australia and silently watched and listened to the mindless, stupid and idiotic comments that spewed from Donald Trump’s warped brain in his abnormal and perverse attempt to be President of the United States. I have tried to find the good and the honest and the interesting and the magnanimous and the benevolent and the worthy and the noble as well as the considerate. I was open minded, hoping to observe a new positive administration and watching how it would leap out of the box and make things better for all who live in America.

I did not witness any of that.

At first, I must admit that I did not have a lot of confidence in the Donald. I was absolutely thunderstruck that he chose to state publicly that he was able to touch any woman anywhere because he was famous. I thought that America and especially American women would be appalled, but I was wrong. Obviously many women of America were fine with a leader boasting about sexual assault.

In October of 2016 I could not believe that he wanted to cosy up to Russia. I could not believe that in June of the same year he shouted out for Russia to find Hillary’s emails. I could not believe my ears when he called Putin, who is a ruthless dictator, a good guy.

And then he became the man in charge, and how did he react?

In January 2017 I was stunned about the lengths that he went to when he viciously and vehemently lied about the size of his Inauguration crowds. Two photos were shown many times on television and on the internet displaying a major difference in the size of his crowd and size of Obama’s crowds. Obama’s were definitely larger. There were more people massed in them. Trumps crowds were visibly smaller with patches of white where no one was standing.

The obvious did not stop the Donald. He could not let go of the fact that his crowds were smaller. He became irrationally outraged that people did not believe him. He sent out his band of deceitful puppets to squash any sense of the truth by saying his crowds were decisively bigger, full stop.

The story did not go away despite the photographic proof, but the Donald would not let it go. He would not drop it. He kept coming back to how his crowds were larger. My crowds were beautiful and larger than anyone has ever seen in Washington, he kept pronouncing, and stating and asserting and maintaining.

And so, let it be said that we got our first glimpse of the leader of America proclaiming that he was right and all of the photographic evidence was wrong.

This had to be the first declaration from Donald the First, King of America, My crowds are larger because I say that they are larger. That is my decree. You will believe me and you will revel in my happiness and my glory, because I say that it is so.

Kings, after all, are always right. They make an announcement and all of their minions fall into line around their edict. King Donald spoke and his sycophants shouted with glee about their leader’s sterling statement and argued that everyone else was wrong.

Fox news praised the king for his assessment of his grand day and they did dare argue that his comments were dead wrong. And the people of America, who sat and watched and were enthralled by the king, did not think for a minute about the comparison of the photos. The king make a wonderful statement about his grand day in Washington and how so many more people came out to share it with him and his assessment was magnificent.

The crowds were the biggest ever, they told each other. So many Americans were there to wish the king well, more than ever before, they gushed to everyone they saw at Walmart.

They were so overjoyed for him. They were so proud of him. They were so pleased and delighted and honoured to have such an outstanding person be their leader. They did not think for one minute that he would lie to them. How could he lie? He was such a wonderful and successful businessman who appeared on television. Why would he lie? That is not part of his nature.

That was only day one. More decrees, assertions and commands were to follow as the king decided to let the whole world know that he was indeed in charge and that he had the royal right to state his opinions for all to follow.

All of his supporters did not listen to his words. They were too in awe of the king and his presence on television. They believed everything that came out of his mouth. They honoured him as being a member of a deity, the deity that spoke to them, telling them how life in America was going to be super under him.

Personally I was shocked that he rejected US intelligence reports and he boasted said that he knew better than the FBI, the CIA and every National Intelligence Professional.

I was devastated when he said that climate change was a hoax and withdrew from the Paris agreement.

I was annoyed when he told James Comey that he wanted loyalty from
