    Chapter topic: Prophecy of the birth of Jesus.

    Imagine the number one as an arrow pointing down representing the message from Heaven

    that Jesus would be born.

    Teacher’s Guide

    Step One: Chapter Topic Memorization

    Cover the description, ask students to look at the number clue and guess the topic. Explain the meaning of the picture clue.

    Step Two: Chapter Topic Application

    Real Time Scenario: A friend asks you about angels and what purpose they served in the Bible. Where would you go? (Luke 1) Ask the students to explain other scenarios that might prompt a need for knowing the topic of this chapter.

    Step Three: Key Passage Memorization

    Write the passage phrase by phrase and have the students repeat each aloud. Erase key words. Have the students write the passage from memory.

    Key Passage:

    Luke 1:31 (NKJV)

    And behold, you will conceive in your womb

    and bring forth a Son,

    and shall call His name Jesus.
