Foreword
by Vid Lamonte’ Buggs Jr.
I walked on the court for the first time at Old Dominion University’s noon ball; Kevin Swann and Adrienne Goodson greeted me with cold stares. I didn’t mind because I carried a chip the size of the world on my shoulders. I felt that I have been slighted by my family, friends, basketball team and coaches. One day, while Kevin Swann, Adrienne, and I was shooting around, Adrienne says to me, Cornbread, no one will realize how talented and smart you are because you have a piss poor attitude. Swann chimed in with his advice on how to be a leader. This was an eye-opening experience and I heeded their advice.
Adrienne has helped guide me in my walk as an athlete, a motivational speaker, a
