A PRINCESS IN DANGER
The majestic gold sprayed oak doors of the courtroom, inside the palace of Gregory Davis; king of Theolanda, were finally opened, in all royal fashion, by the doormen.
Theolanda was an ancient kingdom, from which flowed many rivers, keeping the vegetation green as ever, prospering the efforts of farmers, and making Theolanda an object of jealousy to all of the nine kingdoms of the earth.
The court’s orator announced,
Her majesty Marilyn, fairest queen of Lilydelphia to whom none compares in beauty or flair.
All heads turned to observe the much-expected visitors to King Gregory’s court as three ladies, very gorgeous to behold, glided into the room gracefully. It was not difficult for the people at court to distinguish the queen of Lilydelphia from among the three ladies. She walked ahead of the other two ladies of whom it could be said from their uniformed attire, were her ladies in waiting. A crown which from its sparkle could have been made of nothing short of gold was balanced on her head in very admirable fashion.
