    Animalimericks - Kate Andrew

    Hyena

    A hairy hyena called Honey

    Could not laugh for love or for money;

    She said, "I’m not sad,

    I’m not mad or bad,

    I just don’t find anything funny!"

    Hyena: Related to cats, but look more like dogs, and live in clans. They use lots of noises to communicate, such as whoops, whines, groans, giggles and yells, as well as their famous laughing sound.

    Adder

    An adder who worked in the city

    Said, "Don’t think I’m just sitting pretty—

    My greatest ambition

    Is compound addition,

    To add lots of dosh to my kitty."

    Adder: Also known as a viper. It has a bite which is painful, but not usually fatal. Not very bright, but it can add two mice together to make one good
