Alex was pacing back and forth in the living room. Wearing white basketball shorts and white socks he had just gotten out of the shower. His blonde hair was still damp and his blue eyes looked worried as he kept walking back and forth from the living room to the staircase that led upstairs. Alex kept looking at his watch, it was quarter past eight he saw that the night was getting dark. He had been waiting on his friend to show up for almost a half an hour, looking up the stair case he shook his head. He would have already been having fun but he promised he would wait for his best friend Kenny who said he would be there at seven-thirty.

His blonde hair was still damp and his blue eyes looked worried as he kept walking back and forth from the living room to the staircase that led upstairs. Alex kept looking at his watch, it was quarter past eight he saw that the night was getting dark. He had been waiting on his friend to show up for almost a half an hour, looking up the stair case he shook his head. He would have already been having fun but he promised he would wait for his best friend Kenny who said he would be there at seven-thirty.

A vibrating noise coming from his pocket made him jump. He forgot that he had his cell phone in his pocket, taking it out quickly he was glad to see that it was Kenny calling him.

Where the hell are you? Alex asked him in a whispered voice but made sure that Kenny knew he was really upset with him for being late.

Sorry, I'm on my way. What is this surprise you have for me anyways? Kenny asked, laughing into the phone. He had no idea what Alex had waiting for him but he said that it was going to be a surprise he would never forget.

Just get here and you'll find out. Alex sighed heavily. He shook his head again in frustration though Kenny couldn't see it he was getting upset with him. He was impatient as it was and didn't like Kenny being late.

Give me another ten minutes and I will be there. Chill out. Kenny kidded him as if it wasn't a big deal.

If you're not here in fifteen minutes that I'm going to have the surprise myself and you will get nothing. Alex almost snapped at him. He bit down hard on his lip. The last thing he wanted was for him and Kenny to be fighting over something as silly as the time.

I will be there. Kenny muttered and hung the phone up with saying goodbye.

Alex almost threw the phone but it had been the third one that he had gone through that month and he knew that he couldn't afford another phone. He held the phone tightly in his hand until his knuckles turned white. When he walked into the living room he put it down on the long, glass coffee table that was in the middle of the room.

Sitting in the black recliner he looked out through the blinds. One thing that he liked was having his privacy. Never did he have the blinds or curtains open for the whole world to see in and see what he was doing.

Alex wanted the night to go great. He felt his heart pounding in his ears, his palms were sweating and his head hurt. If Kenny had been there on time then they would have already gotten started.

Alex got out of the recliner and headed up the stairs to his room. Taking a key out of his shorts he unlocked his bedroom door from the outside. Popping his head in a huge smile formed on his lips, he nodded his head and shut the door again quickly. Re-locking the door he knew that Kenny was going to be impressed and happy with his surprise.

He heard the doorbell ringing downstairs and realized that it hadn't been ten minutes yet. Almost running down the stairs he answered the door and saw Kenny standing there with a smile on his face.

Well its about time. Alex told him, returning the smile and moving out the way so that he could walk into the house.

Kenny was a little taller then Alex. He had his black hair gelled and styled. His dark brown eyes were looking at him with amusement that he had left him in a panic knowing just how much Alex hated it when he was late for anything.

So where's this surprise you are so wanting to give me? Kenny asked him, looking over his shoulder to see Alex closing and locking the house door.
