In the back seat of her sponsor’s limousine, Liliana Ashton crossed her slim legs and looked out the rain-dotted window to her left. The headlights of the oncoming, Saturday night traffic registered as dim flares through the dark-tinted glass, the passing neon a quick blur of muted color.
