About this ebook

Wolf is sent out to find fresh food, so Rover flies him to a place where the sun hides. In “Wolf in New Morocco” he wanders across a Sea of Sand to seek a sign of life. Just as he is about to give up, he bumps into a caravan of riders on camels and horses. Soon it becomes clear that in some parts of the Wrecked World, humans not only fight against Mother Nature, but also against their own species.

Author

Leen Lefebre

Leen Lefebre grew up in West Flanders where she works at the Local Heritage Service. As a kid, she threw herself upon each book that was available. Later, she turned around and settled on the worldwide web. She then emerged as a true explorer of literature, music, and sports. Leen is a dreamer and a doer – and this is how her stories rose up as charming and lively fairy tales for adventurers of all ages. Leen is dromer én doener. Zo zijn ook al haar boeken ontstaan: verhalen voor avonturiers – jong en oud.

    MISSION #2

    Wolf in New Morocco

At last –one peaceful feeling overpowered Wolf’s restless body. Here, high up in the sky, his adventure only really started.

He gazed through the side window until the houses became pearls and the waving villagers turned into dots. Eventually all disappeared into the dark depths.

The planet looked battered. This ravage stretched into the distance as far as the night scope could catch. Mother Nature had put her teeth like a shark in a prey, and mercilessly ripped it open. While in earlier times the earth overcame every disaster, she now put a stop to it. New times heralded a new climate, and no one could have foreseen that.

The well-filled cellars of the old times were valuable souvenirs but the food supplies shrank rapidly. Mother Nature had given their Belgian land an extremely barren climate.

As a biologist, Ms. Blackbird was very concerned about the lack of plant growth due to the current cold and drought. Therefore she gave a helping hand to gradually restore this natural vegetation. However, the new soil was rock hard and difficult to cultivate.

As a result, the knot was quickly cut after some builders had found an old airplane. Someone had to start a quest for help – for water and food.
