Leen Lefebre

Leen Lefebre grew up in West Flanders where she works at the Local Heritage Service. As a kid, she threw herself upon each book that was available. Later, she turned around and settled on the worldwide web. She then emerged as a true explorer of literature, music, and sports. Leen is a dreamer and a doer – and this is how her stories rose up as charming and lively fairy tales for adventurers of all ages. Leen is dromer én doener. Zo zijn ook al haar boeken ontstaan: verhalen voor avonturiers – jong en oud.

    MISSION #1 (Prologue)

    Wolf in Old Belgium

    The east beckoned...

Doctor Winter put his head through the crack of the wooden door. Wolf, are you coming?

Yeah, yeah, I am coming, Wolf muttered. He hung with his curly head through the open window, staring at a graphite-grey sky. It kept him captivated.

We made a decision, Winter said.

    Wolf turned around. Really?

The greybeard grinned and as he disappeared into the corridor, he shouted, Are you coming, lad, or staying forever where you are?

Thoughts tumbled through Wolf’s head. So – what exactly was decided? He conjured up his boots from below his bed. Hey –Doc! He hastily tied his laces. Please wait for me! An adrenaline rush passed through his blood as he followed Winter through his medical office.

Wolf sneaked into the dark living room. Next to the fireplace, they were seated; the four elected Members of the Village Council. Flames illuminated the bulky table in the middle of the room.

The man in khaki-green coverall was the first to notice him.

    Dr. Winter,
