      He walked through the door to my clinic, eyes hidden behind mirrored aviator sunglasses and clad in a black hoodie. The last words I expected to hear out of his mouth were that he needed medical attention. He deserved some attention alright, but I wasn't sure it was medical unless it was mouth to mouth.

      I tried not to stare at his amber eyes when he pushed his sunglasses up to the top of his head, his wavy locks somewhat contained by the makeshift headband. Those amber eyes were otherworldly. The stubble on his jaw looked like he hadn't shaved in a few days, typical of the local boys.
