All of us have a story to tell—no matter where we are right now in life. A story is not a life; rather, life is a story to be told that will live on. People have told me that I am good at telling a true story. What makes me want to share my story is the conviction that God has been good to me, He has done great things in my life, and He can do the same in your life too. I believe a powerful story is one that touches people with a few simple written words. I am excited to share what happened in my life, and I believe my story will touch many.

I have learned that even in the face of trials and pain, this life is still wonderful. Obstacles are given to us by God to teach us lessons. They are to teach us to think, to pray, and to know that we need to be still and listen to God’s direction. Obstacles are given to teach me not to think only about myself, but also to consider those who need my help.

In his book, Everybody, Always: Becoming Love in a World Full of Setbacks and Difficult People, the author, Bob Goff, says becoming love is more important. No one can blame you if you do good and are an ambassador of kindness on the earth. Who is against love? No one!
