About this ebook

A well-built, hung mechanic moves into your neighborhood.
Not one … but two. Twins, to be precise.
What do you do?
You stare, of course. And maybe drool a little too.
My whole world turned upside down the moment those two hunks moved into the house next to me.
Why? Because they're actually fighting over me.
It's too good to be true, and it makes me do something stupid …
I let both of them have me.

Double Trouble is a short, smoking MFM menage story about a sassy girl and two boys who know what they want and take it. Lots of swearing and dirty talk with a sweet HEA. Be prepared: You're going to need a fan to cool yourself off.

Good characters. A good read. An epilogue would have been nice. Enjoy

Double Trouble - Coco Cadence

Chapter One

Kayla

Abs the size of mountains.

That’s what I’m looking at right now.

Sweaty, glistening skin and muscles thick as rock. A guy with a chiseled jawline and a body to match it, moving boxes to a new home. Right next to mine.

Holy fucking Christ.

I peer over my shoulder like an owl, trying not to be conspicuous about it as I stand on a ladder and wash my windows. Totally not dangerous or anything. I just can’t keep my eyes to myself. Or my mind out of the gutter, for that matter.

Oh, boy, how badly I want to lick those fine abs.

Suddenly, I see another one just like him appear from behind the truck. The shock has me twitching. The ladder shakes, and I squeal as I tumble off.

But I don’t just land in the soft grass. And I don’t see the sky or the sun above me.

All I see is abs.

Abs all around me.

Sweaty, toned abs. If this isn’t heaven, I don’t know what else it would be.

Are you all right? one of the guys says, and my attention is drawn to his mouth.

Beautiful lips. God, so precious, I almost want to touch them. Almost. I barely manage to keep my fingers down.

Nodding, I look into his pristine blue eyes and say, Yeah. I’m okay …

Could I sound any more like a doozy?

His arm is around my back, and he helps me sit up on the grass. You sure? You made quite the fall.

I rub the back of my head and check for any wounds, but there’s nothing. Yeah … I just tried to lean too far to the right on the ladder. I try to chuckle it off, even though I know I’ve been caught staring.

Washing the windows, I see, he muses as he looks at the soap and water gathering between my legs. I quickly shove the sponge away, but it’s too late; my pants are soaked.

He laughs and holds out his hand. When I grab it, the fierceness in his grip has my body trembling as he pulls me up to my feet.

Dax Huntington. Pleasure to meet you.

Pleasure indeed …

I lick my lips to swallow down the tiny bit of drool that was there.

Kayla Davis, I reply when I notice I’ve been staring at him.

Right when he releases my hand, another guy just like him walks up to us. I’m not kidding on the likeness. They are like twins. I can’t even tell the difference.

Who’ve we got here? the guy says.

Kayla, this is Dean. Dax points at him with his thumb and then slams his lips together.

Hey, beautiful, Dean says, dropping a box right in front of his brother.

Smooth … Dax whispers, making me giggle.

Shut up, Dean muses, as he grabs my hand to shake it. His grip is just as strong as Dax’s. Nice to meet you, Kayla.

Aren’t you supposed to bring the boxes inside? Dax says.

Yeah, but I thought … why not say hi to our neighbor first? Dean says, raising his brow. But you can bring that one inside if you’d like.

Dax gives him the side-eye. Excuse me. I’m trying to see if she’s hurt, all right?

From your grip? Nah, you aren’t that strong.

Dax shoves him. Shut up.

Hehe, so you all right, Kayla? Dean asks. I saw you fall off the ladder, and it looked like it hurt.

I nod, but then he suddenly leans in and plucks a strand of grass from my hair. His cheeky smile is the only thing I can see as he lets go of the grass and it drifts away with the wind.

If you need any help with that, I’d be glad to take care of it for you, he says.

Uh …

Help with that … all I can think about are his lips. And Dax’s.

Jesus, I can’t tell them apart, and it’s driving me mad. They are both too delicious to put into words, but I shouldn’t get this distracted.

I meant with your windows, he adds, making me blush.

Oh, no, it’s fine. I laugh it off like it’s no big deal, but honestly, I am embarrassed.

Don’t let him fool you, Kayla. He doesn’t know how to use his hands, Dax jokes.

Use his hands … I wish he would use them on me.

Jesus, Kayla, contain yourself. You’re not on the market. Even though they might be …

Dean shoves Dax. Shut your traphole. He picks up the box. Let’s just get these boxes inside.

Right … Well, we’ll be seeing you around, Kayla. They turn around, and all I can do is stare at those perfectly sculpted asses barely covered with jeans, wiggling from side to side.

New neighbors.

Not one … but two.

Good God.

I just died falling off the ladder and went to heaven.

That, or I just hit the hot-stud jackpot.

***

Dax

I can’t believe we moved in next to a girl like her.

I’m not just surprised. I’m ecstatic.

When I saw her gazing at me from atop that ladder, I instantly felt my heart race, and I don’t even know why. Beautiful green eyes, lickably soft skin, and plump lips I could suck all day. Something about her just captured my attention … and then she fell off.

I hope she didn’t notice my chuckle. I didn’t mean to laugh at her even though it was funny.

That’s the first time a girl has literally fallen for me.

And it’s a first where I can’t get the girl I just met out of my mind.

I sigh as I set down a box full of tools in the garage and go back to the truck to pick up more. Every time I pass the door, I look to my left, hoping to find her standing there, but she’s already gone. Maybe we scared her off with our banter. Or maybe she has other things on her mind. Who knows.

What I do know is that I want to get to know her better sooner rather than later.

Stop dreaming about sexy legs, Dax, Dean muses as he walks past me.

Shut up, I say, frowning. Like you’re not thinking about her too.

I am but that won’t stop me from doing my job. You, on the other hand …

I make a face at him. At least I know when I see a fine specimen.

He narrows his eyes. Doesn’t mean she’s yours.

Oh, yeah? And who decides that? I pick up another box from the truck.

She does. And as far as I know, she didn’t pick you.

Yet, I add.

He stops walking and cocks his head at me. Is that a challenge?

I muffle a laugh. Like you could win from me.

Oh … we’ll see about that.

I shove him aside when he tries to sidestep me. Dude, don’t mess with me. She’s mine.

You barely know her.

So? I know I want her. That’s all I need to know.

Based on what? He raises his brows.

I grab my junk and squeeze a little. Based on this.

Dean closes his eyes and sighs out loud. Fuck, dude, Jesus. He looks away quickly, making me laugh.

I get what I want. Always. You know that.

Yeah … well … He puts down a box on the table. What if I tell you I want her too?

I squint. You’d better not make this a contest …

He smirks. Oh, it’s not. I just want to get me a piece of that ass too.

Heh … really? I doubt that. Once I’ve had my way with her, there won’t be anything left.

Right … keep dreaming, dude.

We both walk out the door to grab more boxes, only to both end up stopping and staring at her front door.

She’s kissing another dude.

At first, my fists ball, but then I see him kiss her on the cheeks and turn around after they hug each other tight. She waves him off, and he leaves in his car.

Just like a happy couple.

Goddammit.

Guess we’re gonna have to sit this one out, Dean muses.

I nod and say, But the moment that dude’s gone, I’m jumping on it.

Oh, you bet your ass I am too.
