    Urban Reflections - Wilfried Raussert

    Matters

    LIGHT OUR FIRE

All marigolds, of all variegated hue

    Adorn you,

    Your face, a crisscross of

    red and blue,

    Jim Morrison, after singing such

    Fiery numbers,

    CANTINA LUCHADOR

    A bizarre logo ‘luchador’

The closed eyes of a man

    With close-knit thick brows

    With snakeskin lips

    Fleshy and curved,

    His nostrils are concealed,

    Like abstruse message

    In an envelope!

    His fingers hold the diner

    In a mysterious cocoon!

    Inside, there sit a couple,

    Maybe new friends

    Weighing pros and cons

    Of a growing
