I grew up in the South, but have lived north of the Mason-Dixon line for many years now. It seems funny now, but growing up I was told I talked like a Yankee, but after moving north, I am told I talk like a Southerner. Go figure! Science has always been an interest of mine, as well as the Bible, and both have shaped my perspective on just about everything. Yet, I think I have always had a creative side, too. It's just taken longer for it to surface through all the science, I guess. I have a doctorate in both pharmacokinetics (mathematical description of drug concentrations in the body) and in Biblical prophecy. I want people to understand that both science and faith can exist together, and, in fact, go hand in hand. I believe our future will be a positive one and be scientifically advanced where technology itself will become a way one can offer up worship. I like for my books to be both fun to read and have a strong scientific bent to them. I, with my wife and kids, live outside Philadelphia in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Infiltration
Oliver sat at his desk and looked around. He had made it. He was now a health and resources consultant for the Mars City Aerospace and Engineering firm, just outside Houston. It hadn’t been easy. He didn’t necessarily have the same credentials as other HR employees at the company. But he knew he had three things in his favor, and these likely helped Denise, his supervisor, believe he could do this job: charisma, an outgoing personality, and plenty of self-confidence. Since he was hired as a consultant and not a full-fledged company employee, he had convinced Denise he could provide an outside-the-box perspective.
Oliver knew most women found his charm nearly irresistible, so he milked that quality for all it was worth—and usually succeeded.
There was something big going on, and this company was at the center of it. Rosencrantz, the company president, was knee-deep in something secret, something bigger than any government conspiracy, and Oliver needed to know what those plans involved. His work location was on Rosencrantz’s floor, so that would allow him access to better understand what was going on; he could now at least see who would be entering and leaving Rosencrantz’s office. Oliver knew this plan was dangerous, but he had to find these things out. His sanity depended upon it.
As he turned on his holo-computer, he looked around as others began getting ready for their day. Many were doing what he had done earlier—reading through notes they had made the day before, thus giving themselves knowledge on how to start their day. Oliver had created his own system to do this very thing. Upon awakening, the first thing he looked at each morning was his notes. These notes were for his personal life. He didn’t want to forget the things most important to him. Then, at work, he reviewed more notes to be sure he could operate efficiently in his professional life. The latter review had become so routine for so many in the world that no one thought it strange. It was quite common. Expected.

At a previous job, Oliver once noticed another employee starting their day without notes. Odd. Who does that? He wrote this fact down to add to what he would review each day. This led to more and more questions, which he also added to his notes. Now, what was ordinary to others was no longer ordinary to him. He knew he had a mission. He had to know: what makes people forget the things from just the day before? And were some people immune to this need to write things down and review them each day? Oliver had to unlock this riddle.
Not everything was erased each day. There were some things he could remember without reviewing his previous day’s notes. But he needed his notes for all of it to make sense. Typically, without notes, even the things that were there in pieces would soon be forgotten—something like
