About this ebook
A classy erotic short (8,000 words) about parenting problems.
It’s the summer vacation, and Ruby is stuck at home with her father, sunbathing all day while her Dad’s in his bedroom working on his laptop. Ruby’s Dad’s great. He’s a big, strong fireman, much respected in town for his fire-fighting heroism. Ruby loves her father, even though he’s strict, but her love is challenged when she discovers that he isn’t working on his computer at all, he’s looking at photos of her in her bikini that he took without her knowing. Should she tell her Mum? Go to the police? Say nothing? The questions get harder and harder to answer... till the day of the big fire.

DADDY'S A FIREMAN
It was the summer vacation, and, gosh, I was bored. All my school friends were away at the seaside surfing or away in the mountains white water rafting, Mum was visiting her sister, and I was stuck at home with Dad.
My Dad’s cool. I think he cares about me more than my Mum does. He’d taken a fortnight off work because he didn’t like the idea of me being alone in the house all day. There are some dodgy people hanging around our neighborhood.
I’m eighteen, I’m perfectly old enough to look after myself, but it was nice of Dad to be so worried about me, especially as he’s a fireman and it was a boiling hot summer. There were loads of fires everywhere and Dad’s boss, Geoff, was upset with him for taking the time off. Actually, he’s my step-Dad, but he married my Mum so long ago he feels more like a real father. I get on better with my step-Dad than most of my friends get on with their proper fathers.
I was so bored that fortnight, I can’t tell you how bored I was. Having nothing to do was driving me insane. Dad couldn’t even drive me over to the mall to hang out, or take me into the town pool for a dip, because he was busy in his office all day—well, it’s his and Mum’s bedroom actually, but he calls his desk shoved against his bedroom wall his ‘office’. He was working on some stuff for the school board. Dad’s on the Parents and Citizens Committee of my school. He organizes fetes and gala sports days to raise money for a new gym for the school and stuff like that. That’s the sort of Dad he is, big and strong—nice looking too—and self sacrificing with it.
That summer fortnight Dad spent the whole day at his desk, and in the evening
