To the Cheese with the String
The only safe place for the boy is his mind. Outside of it are screams, ridicule, lies, and pain. This confident yet timid boy is susceptible to all the dangers of the world, and yet he does not quit on the scathing world. Thugs sucker-punch him from behind, but he only picks himself up and moves forward. His golden hair is filled with dirt and filth that has been thrown onto him. His eyes are first filled with anger but suddenly evolve into eyes of fear. He breathlessly stops and thrusts a glob of dirt from his hair before plummeting to his knees. The only thoughts pounding in the boy’s mind are ones of shame and regret. He is ready to give up, but someone grabs his arms. This one is younger and seems familiar to the quickly-puzzled boy. The familiar stranger simply smiles and says, Endure, and carry an umbrella.
The boy wondered, What does that mean? Who are you? Just when he was about to figure this out, the soon-to-be-desperate child awoke from his daydream.

Gary interrupted. We are in Florida; he only moved across the border! It’s not like we can’t ride our bikes there!
After quieting himself, he continued, Anyway, you know I need an ‘A’ on the project.
Yes.
Taylor sighed. I know, and I’ll let you use it, but on one condition: You cannot use all of it.
Agreed.
So what are you making?
Taylor asked.
Well, I’m making a fishing rod,
Gary said with a smile, It’s going to be big, blue, and it will catch a million fishes when Mr. Pushintol use it.
First off,
Taylor replied, "it’s ‘uses,’ not ‘use;’ second, again, please do
