Enex - A Soul's Journey - Maegan Prentice
THE BEGINNING
The first thing I remember was screaming at something, but it had no shape or form. Time and space had no meaning.
No!
I don't want to be!
Nothing is good!
My scream was not heard.
No!
I don't want to be!
Nothing is good
Nothing is...
Everything!
The reality of my endless universe was being challenged. I had no form to speak form and yet the words existed. In response, there came a quiet, deep voice saying, It’s time for you to discover your birthright – creativity and responsibility.
The Voice was not threatening, but the idea, the thought was terrifying and, at the same time, sad. I really didn’t understand what these words meant, but something, some part of me, seemed certain that I could never return to Nothing. I was already becoming cold. The warmth of Nothing was gone and I could not understand what was happening. All I knew was that I needed to find a place to rest.
Even though everything was cold and dark it felt as if there must be something out there. I could not believe that I was totally alone. There must have been others on this path. Their points of light shimmered in space. Perhaps if we were to met we could help each other understand what it is that The Voice was speaking of.

In spite of this hopeful thought it was certain that I would never be happy again except in my memories of Nothing.
I tried calling out to The Voice, but the only answer I received told me I must learn to use nothing and directed me towards one of those points of light. As The Voice spoke I also saw an image that I didn’t understand - a circle that touched the center of my awareness.
I had no real being then. Only thoughts of sadness for the loss of Nothing.
THE FIRST JOURNEY
As I moved towards one of the points of light it became larger and larger until I somehow understood that it dwarfed my whole existence.
I tried to stay away, to prevent myself from being overcome, when I heard the Voice again.
Go! You asked for a direction and I have given it to you.
Everything became one all encompassing light. I felt so insignificant that I was afraid I would cease to exist. I thought to myself that
