Preface
The writing of Ángel Muñiz was revolutionized by mixing fiction with reality. His admiration for Franz Kafka, H. G. Wells, Juan Rulfo and Jules Verne are revealed through his stories.
His stories confront reality, challenging individual sanity, and dealing with the little things that happen and for the most part seem unimportant.
Casefile X is a book that wants to rescue psychology’s values, through dialogue with the reader about materialism and humankind’s lack of conscience today; expressing the invisibility and misunderstanding of society towards the person. It’s the kind of story that ponders the melodrama of life.
A forgotten cellphone allows the protagonist the discovery of a very intimate secret of the woman he loves and lets the reader in on a stormy atmosphere in a sea of unfathomable doubts that will leave nothing standing. The story centers on the life of a prestigious psychologist from Mexico City, who is dealing with the most difficult case in his career as a psychotherapist when one day a patient with serious problems comes to his office.
Angel Muñiz was born on December 8th, 1981 in Monclova, Coahuila, Mexico. His parents are Gerardo Muñiz Braco and Angelita Carlos Guevara. He’s an independent writer, unknown in the literary world. His personality is distinguished by the passion for life, love, and family. He loves books and is an avid reader. His story tires to recreate reality in all aspects, especially the tragic festival of life.
His story is a feat of dedication and ideals of a dreamer. Before this book, his life revolved around his job and his family. His other interests include chess and composing music. He is a great lover of stories and an inquisitive novelist who is anxious to make his mark.
Reading this book will teach you to know when a person is lying to you or if your significant other is being unfaithful by just observing the expression in their eyes and hearing their tone of voice.
The X Case is Angel Muñiz’s first novel, and you will discover in it the everyday passion that a psychologist faces in his profession. A wealth of emotions makes the ending unexpected.
All the information contained follows the tenets of universal psychology.

Introduction
Dogma-N
Life takes many turns in both directions, always ending the same way: in ashes.
- Gastón González
Chapter 1: The Accident
It’s all so confusing. I just remember driving to work, late because the alarm clock I used hadn’t gone off on time. I suspected it was an electrical problem, but at that moment it was the least of my worries. I barely had enough time to get to work. I couldn’t afford to be late because the company would discount the bonus they gave for punctuality and assistance. I remember that I was driving fast, berating my bad luck when suddenly the light changed to red. I couldn’t stop and wait for it to change to green again, so I accelerated as much as I could. Stopping wasn’t an option for me; it didn’t even cross my mind.
When I tried to run the light, my foot pressing down on the accelerator, I hit a car that was heading in the opposite direction. It was a huge crash. In the blink of an eye, I had caused a dramatic, and fatal, car crash...
After that, I just remember walking toward a light that filled me with peace and tranquility. I completely lost the notions of time and distance. Each step I took filled me with a feeling of indescribable happiness. I kept moving toward the light, which grew stronger and stronger until it blinded me, forcing me to stop.
Chapter 2: The Strange Awakening
It was a morning like any other: the weather was nice, and the sun’s rays entering through one of the windows fell on my still closed eyes. When I opened them, I found that I was lying next to a black dog with white spots. She was nursing four black and dark brown puppies that were only a few months old, judging by their size.
What the heck?!
I cried, startled and scared. I felt like I was looking at everything upside down, though I’d tried to stand up. I felt small, slow and strange. I moved away from the puppies, feeling scared, as they continued to nurse. I looked around and found myself in a strange place. It was a seemingly abandoned room, full of garbage.
As I looked around, I tried to
