About this ebook
Sometimes facts may be more interesting, more humorous and much more mysterious than fictions. This eBook is based on purportedly some real stories of few persons who introduced me to some facts which are more surprising than the fictitious stories written by some excellent writers. As these stories were told to me by some of my known persons over few pegs of whiskey or by some co-passengers while travelling, or in a discussion over a dinner, I cannot guarantee the veracity of the facts. In any case, I have changed the names of the characters to protect their privacy. Again, if any of the characters or situations of the book resembles with someone known to you, it may be mere coincidence only. Therefore, kindly treat these stories also as fictitious only as I cannot certify any of these stories are based on facts. Further some of the stories are repeated from some of my earlier ebooks.
Anyway, except the last chapter, other stories are of serious nature based on few facts laced with some fiction. The last chapter is based on facts heavily laced with spice and salt to provide you some fodder to have a hearty laugh.

Chapter I: A Tradition: Not to Be Proud of
Today Vineet Arora was waiting outside the society gate to receive his daughter who is coming from England after completing her post doctorate degree in Law. Vineet Arora remained as a bachelor throughout his life after he was ditched by his classmate lover some forty odd years back. He was all alone till he was forty and then he adopted Sweta as his daughter. Now his entire life revolves around his adopted daughter.
Fifteen years back Sweta came to his life in a dramatic way. I am sure you will surprised to see how an unexpected event change the future course of life of a person.
In those days, Vineet Arora was a real bad man. He used to booze a lot and was a regular customer of many pimps who used to provide call girls to him. Some of the pimps who provide call girls at a reasonable rate as a regular, reliable and compassionate customer who used to treat call girls as human being. Some of the pimps however, never looked at the good qualities of Arora and therefore no concession was given to him. As a result of that he seldom took services from those pimps. In due course of time, even some call girls used to visit him as a guest at his residence.
One day one of those pimps who are providing call girls at reasonable rates told that a very beautiful girl had been arranged for him albeit with a huge price tag. Vineet asked why the girl had a big price tag and why he has been approached for the girl. The pimp replied, ‘Sir she is almost a fresh girl in the market. Why we have arranged for you, it is your humane approach even for a prostitute. At least she should be aware that all the customers are not bad. Otherwise she will be fearful to go to any customer. A fearful call girl cannot make a customer happy.’ The pimp explained why the girl is offered to him.
At around 8 PM, the girl was dropped at Arora’s residence by the pimp as scheduled and then the pimp left his house like any other day. However, unlike other call girls, the new girl was sitting like a proverbial sacrificial goat on a sofa at the drawing room of Arora. Arora looked at the girl. She was looking at the ground.
‘What is your name?’ Arora asked.
‘Monika.’ From the sound of Monika, Arora had a feeling that she might not be a major.
‘How old are you?’
‘21 sir.’ Her answer was not convincing.
‘Are you sure, you are 21?’ Arora wanted to know her age.
She fumbled and said again, ‘21’.
Arora’s doubt about the age of the girl grew further on her answer
He did not want to have any sexual relation with a minor girl. The girl did not raise her head from the ground.
Arora again asked the same question with some sternness. This time she raised her head and told, ‘They told me to say as my age is 21.’
‘Do not worry. Tell me your exact age.’ Arora assured the young girl with an assuring voice.
‘On 15th January, I shall be 15.’ The minor girl for the first time raised her head.
At her answer, Arora became angry on the pimp for sending a minor to him for the night. He again looked at the girl. He saw her moist eyes.
‘Do not worry from me. I am not going to do any harm to you. But tell me why and how you have arrived in this profession at such a young age?’ Arora’s voice was full of sympathy and kindness which was clear even for the fearful child.
Monika started weeping for the next few minutes and when Arora tried to console her by tapping on her shoulders, she grabbed the legs of Arora and started pleading him, ‘Sir, save me from these animals.’
Consoling her, Arora asked, ‘Tell me what happened?’
In the next one hour what the minor girl told Arora, it was his beyond imagination. Her story in a nut shell is like this:
‘She was born to a lower middle class family in a state where child marriage is rampant despite of the fact the child marriage is legally banned long before. Her marriage was also arranged with a boy from the same community three months before. Up till now everything was alright in the eyes of Monika. But when her father told her mother, as per tradition, he had the right to eat fruits of the tree he had planted few year ago as the first man and mother also agreed to her husband’s proposal, she was about to faint. Initially she thought it was nothing but a prank. When she asked whether it was a prank, her mother told her that it was not a prank and told her that her mother had also gone through that trauma at the hands of her grandfather few years ago. When she asked her mother to rescue her from the roving eyes of her own father, her mother told her categorically that it would not be possible as it is done in the barb of some tradition. She fears if she objects to the tradition of the community, she might be thrown out of her house by her husband even from the community by the elders who were the beneficiaries of the traditional system.
As a result of the so called tradition, the child was raped by her own father repeatedly for the next few days. Fad up with the mental agony she fled from her home and landed in a small town. Then her journey of pain started again. A lady who was lurking for victims of similar nature took her to her home only to be raped again by some unknown people before selling her to another middleman and that middleman sold this girl to the pimp who dropped her at Arora’s house. While changing hands she was raped again and again by all the males, supported by some females during the exchange ownership of the young hapless girl.
This was an unbelievable story, ever heard by Vineet Arora. He looked at the innocent face of the girl. He did not find any doubt in disbelieving the girl. He told the girl, ‘Do not worry, I shall save you from all the demons lurking around you. Now take some food and sleep in the guest room peacefully.’
‘No sir, I cannot sleep alone. I fear to sleep alone at night. Ghost may eat me up. I shall sleep on
