    FOREWORD

Wayne Dyer wrote, When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

Author, Janie Kelley, offers us powerful tools, technics and instructions for making simple, yet life altering, changes. These simple changes will empower us to live Full-Tilt.

The world is ready for this life changing information which shows how to change our minds and change our behaviors. This, then, allows us to release the past, the old ideas, habits and behaviors which no longer serve us but keep us stuck in ruts. These ruts take us nowhere new, fresh and exciting.

This delightful guide to self-empowerment gives us intelligent reminders of our own worthiness and deservability of good and of all good.

Each of us, she reminds us, must focus a part of our life experience on solitude in order to listen and understand. Her deep insights into our own longing to live an abundant, joy-filled life lead us to embrace the helpful meditation practices that she provides.

This book shows us clearly the power of money in our lives. It reminds us of the spiritual principles designed to guide us into the life we desire and deserve right now, not someday. This life is here for us now!

With emphasis on listening to our own spiritual guidance, we give ourselves permission to tune into the frequency of that internal voice of Spirit within each one of us. We are inspired by the author’s wisdom to commit to be all that we have come to be with faith, courage and boldness.

Author Kelley presents to us a pathway for us to experience life in a way that Thoreau described as living with the license of a higher order of being. Living Full-Tilt, rather than just existing, requires commitment, courage and a mighty faith. This book will change your life if you will let it!

My prayer is that you will open your heart to this message of transformation, remember who you truly are and live a life of outrageous bliss!

    Living Full-Tilt

    Affirmations

    God is my Source.

I am a precious child of God and I deserve all good.

I forgive and I am forgiven for all mistakes in the past, present and future.

Nothing can keep me from my God ordained success.

God has not given me a spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind.

I listen within and follow as I am guided.

My good comes to me pressed down, shaken together and running over.

I now have enough time, energy, wisdom, love, and money to accomplish all of my desires.

I release all blocks and give myself permission to live the life of my dreams.

The Power that is within me is greater than any power in the world. With God all things are possible.

Everything that I could ever want is here for the asking and I live in a state of gratitude.

It is God’s good pleasure to give me the kingdom. I have robust health, harmonious, balanced relationships, satisfying life activities and all of the material wealth that I can use wisely.

I give lovingly and generously. I am supplied lovingly and generously.

    And so it is, Amen.

As you begin reading this book, start saying these affirmations right away. Say them at least once shortly after waking and at least once just before going to sleep. Say them aloud if possible. The sound of your own voice will help open your heart and mind to the unlimited possibilities before you. Saying these affirmations will give you a jump-start in creating a life you love living.

    INTRODUCTION

    FOLLOW YOUR DREAM

"If you want to "taste the fruit of the tree you have to go out on a limb."

Shirley MacLaine (from the movie, Out on a Limb)

When guided by Spirit, don’t be afraid to take risks. Live by Universal Principles and you cannot fail!

    Janie Kelley

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to:

    • Live your life at a level that you would never have to pass up an opportunity to do, be or have anything because of money?

    • Experience deep, lasting joy in your life that does not depend on circumstances or other people?

    • Release all struggle and live out all of your heart’s desires?

    • Live a life of sheer opulence?

    • Have the freedom and ability to give away significant amounts of money to help your fellow human beings?

    • Be completely free to be all that you came here to be?

    • Live your life from a standpoint of freedom, joy and plenty?

This book is in your hands right now because living full-tilt is a desire of your heart. You were probably attracted to the title of this book because it describes how you want to live your life. There are no accidents in this divinely ordered universe; therefore, you are reading this by divine appointment. You are drawn to this book because the time has come for you to stop settling for a mediocre, or even less than mediocre, existence. The time has come for you to stop resigning yourself to being less than you can be. The time has come for you to live the life of your dreams!

    Congratulations!

    Your time is now!

    Begin Where You Are

If you want to live the life of your dreams, and you are not currently doing so, something must change. This change will require you to move out of your comfort zone. It will require that you let go of your safety net. It will require that you go out on a limb.

It is equally important to begin where you are and be gentle with yourself as you learn and grow. Let go of criticizing yourself. Know that it is progress that you seek, not perfection.

Just as there are physical laws that govern the physical world, there are spiritual laws that govern the universe. Living Full-Tilt takes you through seven of these universal principles that, when practiced with regularity, will support your life of freedom, joy and plenty. The areas these principles cover are:

    1. Deservability

    2. Forgiveness

    3. Gratitude

    4. Giving and Receiving

    5. Setting Intentions

    6. Living your Purpose in Life

    7. Commitment

When you learn the spiritual principles that govern these areas and put these principles to work in your life, you place yourself squarely in the flow of the good that was prepared for you even before you were born. When guided by Spirit, don’t be afraid to take risks. Live by universal principles and you cannot fail. When you begin to put these laws into practice, much of the time your good flows to you so fast that it seems like you are living in a dream. You will have to learn to receive to a much greater degree than ever before in your life. You will have to learn to "Increase your tolerance for pleasure." Edwene Gaines

When you put these laws into practice your health improves, relationships harmonize, you find satisfaction in your work and life activities, and money flows to you in sufficient amounts to live a full, rich, opulent life. Whenever these areas are balanced you are free to live the life of your dreams and to be all that you came here to be! Being balanced does not necessarily mean that all areas of your life must be given equal time and attention. That can happen, but it is rare. Having your life in balance simply means giving the appropriate amount of time and energy to each segment of your life. There was a time in my life when I thought a balanced life meant that my life’s work, my primary relationship, recreation, relaxation and self-care each had to have the same amount of time and attention. Now I know that, for me, a schedule like that is not only unrealistic but, impossible!

Balance means giving appropriate amounts of our time and attention to each area. The appropriate amount of time for each area may shift and change from time to time. We each get to decide.

    Unconventional Claims

I may make statements and claims that defy conventional wisdom. It may be the use of conventional wisdom that brought you to your present set of circumstances. If you are to live an extraordinary life you must do extraordinary things! You must break free from much of the accepted norm. What society considers normal is often times dull, boring and lacking in imagination. In order to live the life of your dreams you must defy conventional wisdom in many situations. Much of the time, conventional wisdom leads to mediocrity. In order to live the life of your dreams you must get used to being the exception rather than the rule.

If you do what you have always done, you will get what you have always gotten. If you wanted what you already have, most likely you would not be reading this book. I ask that you let go of your preconceived notions about what you have been taught and all that you thought you knew about how things work. For now, open yourself and embrace the teachings in this book. This book is the accumulation of more than thirty years of study and many more years of life experience. Put these spiritual principles into practice and see the changes take place in your life. In order to know that these spiritual laws really work, you must give them an honest effort and a fair trial of at least six months. The positive changes will most likely come much quicker but six months will surely see a positive change if you follow closely the principles outlined in this book. After you have given the principles and suggestions a fair trial (no less than six months) you are free to pick up your old beliefs and go back to the life that you are currently living if you so choose. For now, let go of your preconceived ideas about everything.

Right now I encourage you to embrace a Zen Buddhist concept called Shoshin (pronounced show-shinn). It means beginners mind. It refers to the letting go of preconceived ideas, beliefs and notions and being open minded as though not knowing anything, much like a small child. Observe a child between one and three years of age. They look at everything with new eyes because the whole world is new to them. A baby can be entertained for long periods of time by a simple set of keys. Small children ask lots of questions because they don’t yet know about the world around them and they are curious. They don’t know the names of objects and how these objects fit into their world. They have a beginner’s mind. They are open to all possibilities and they don’t know anything about limitation. As you read this book, I encourage you to practice Shoshin.

I invite you to pretend that you know nothing about how the world works and how you are to live your life. Let these ideas, thoughts and principles fall on new ground as a seed into fertile soil. When an apple seed is placed in rich soil and given adequate water and sunshine, over time, it develops into an apple tree
