About this ebook

Next time remind me to tell you about all that took place in my life and my family. The magical times we share together as a family. The trips we traveled and of course conversations during dinner and church fellowship. August 2012 was a blow to all of our lives. John found out that he had Lung cancer. We all were devastated of the report. On December 10th 2012, John left to be with the Lord after a short illness. I am happy to know that he did get to read most of the book before he passed away. I thank God for the years we shared together as a family.

    ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

    Thank God

To all those who have supported, and enabled me to persevere, when I would have gave up hope, had I been on my own. I am grateful to my Family, relatives, friends, Pastors of all faith who reminded me that God can change all things. I am grateful for the hospital’s staff volunteers, visitors. I am especially grateful to donors, large and small, who was there when I needed them most.

To John, my love, supportive Spouse

Who was there for me when I needed his shoulder to cry.

God said that with Him we can do all things

It was a beautiful Wednesday morning, June 22nd, 1966 at approximately 2:10 a.m. I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, weighing seven pounds, two ounces. The weather was warm and the sky was full with stars. Away we went to the Medical University of South Carolina for delivery.

After staying in the hospital for two days, I then returned home with my third daughter. As I watch her grow up she was always getting into things. I can remember taking the girls to and from their grandparents houses so I could work to support them.

One day my mother was in her garden, and Jennifer decided that she would come down the steps to see what was happening. She came down the steps crawling backwards. A gentleman across the street shouted, The baby is going to fall, then my mother looked up and it was Jennifer.

The Miracle That Change My Way Of Living

Saturday morning 9:30 a.m. I arrived at James Island Presbyterian Church for a Officers Training Workshop. This workshop was from 10:30 until 3:30 pm. Arriving home from this workshop… .

    CHAPTER ONE

January 23, 1988 was a day that I will not ever forget. After a long day of workshops with many fellow parishes from all over the State of South Carolina, I returned home to receive
