I want to thank God first

There is a verse

He has given each and every one of us a gift

A gift to give

I finally have mine

Sometimes it takes time

Poetry is my new passion

To express my compassion

Deep from my heart

It will always play a part

Strumming my pen across this pad

Some words happy some sad

This heart has lots to say

In a poets way

Open and free to express me

For a blind eye to see

I have sacrificed my life to save animals lives

It pains me to see them die

I want to
