The release of caring to a hurting soul is extending the hand of God from heaven. In the aftermath of a traumatic experience, there is no sense of good or bad; it is just loss. Bringing someone to the next step or the next day requires sacrifice and sanctum. This is where the beacon of your strength is able to guide them like a lighthouse in the midst of a tumultuous storm. Reaching out in the midst of darkness to grasp a hurting soul is a two-fold ordeal. It requires you to calm the outpouring of emotions and gain leverage through the Prince of Peace. The thought of assisting with the objective of a better life establishes purpose in ones life. Becoming what others need in you while still being true to yourself announces to the world, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Philippians 4:13).

Writing Healing in a Cup: Sips of Inspiration was a revelation. After all the years I had experienced loss and gain, victory through pain turned out to nurture a book inside of me. There were chapters waiting to be freed. Every test in life is an experience that chooses you. You dont wake up in the morning looking for hurt and grievances, but it is the victory from this obstruction that salutes the God in you.

The cup of healing imparts to others what God has given you on your journey for the whole you. It is the healing of the spirit, body, and soul.

You don’t wake up in the morning looking for hurt and grievances, but it is the victory from this obstruction that salutes the God in you.

The gift of caring imparts to others what God has given you on your journey for the whole you. It is what helps us to forgive and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood. It gets us out of bed early to answer the call of someone that is besieged and sinking from the weight of life’s hurdles.

Sips of inspirations are a culmination of experiences that have evolved because someone had a heart.

I dedicate this book to all the men and women who struggle to find answers and relief for the grief and turmoil that plague their heart. I pray that these sips of faith point you to the throne of grace. A daily Sip of His Word will strengthen you. Before you know it, you will have become a footman for the healing of others.

Introduction

Father, if You are willing, take this cup away from Me—nevertheless, not my will but Yours be done". Luke 22:42

When Jesus stated, who is my mother and who are my brothers? He was addressing the aloneness of His statute personality in this world. The wearing of a flesh suit was contrary to the brilliance of his personality, He was the Son of God.

Jesus knew the effects of sin on the flesh. So-much-so that when it was time to complete his mission the flesh contended with the suffering He was about to encounter. In a moment of thought He asked God a question "if You are willing, take this cup away from Me".

This was a heartfelt moment of truth for me. Jesus the Son of God embraced humanity to feel the influence of sin. In His Divine holiness He touched the struggles we face. This cup became therapeutic healing for my soul. Jesus had the choice to refuse death, yet in the midst of this insufferable act, the love of the Father toward us, regenerated His Spirit and nevertheless overcame the deeds of the flesh. This is the epitome of worship when the soul (the decision maker) chooses to listen to the Spirit of God.

The Word of God overpowers the flesh, so the spirit of man can soar. The regeneration of the spirit man, now receiving the Truth and knowledge of God, mounts up with wings of an eagle (strength). Wholeness
