Chronicles of Life in Poetry
()
About this ebook
The entries in this book are accompanied by reviews of other poetry lovers to provide a brief insight of what other readers think of my work. My poems touch on the reality of life and it is my hope that this collection of mind-liberating lines will bring comfort to all, even to the point of making us realize that life is not a game that can be easily played and won.
The book will be an enlightening read if readers were to only let the words sink and plainly speak to the seeking soul that have long thirst for a release. There will be a sense of satisfaction within the inner self saying, "Yes, you've hit the right note" and soul-searching moments after the message is digested as intended.

Reviews
There’s only one word to describe the feeling that the poems have evoked in me, ‘soothing’. They remind me of the series Chicken Soup for the Soul. These poems carry a lot of heartwarming messages and they make good reading for one with a worn out body and a burnout state of mind. They depict life’s journey and most importantly, the poet’s own journey through life and his views about matters that affect him. The language used is simple yet meaningful. The choice of words is apt and conveys the message that the poet wished to express most vividly. I can relate to the poem Say It as we constantly forget the healing power of words. Both poems Thankful and Everything’s Great share a similar message i.e., on the importance of being appreciative no matter how unkind or unjustly we are treated. Life is what we made out of it and if we choose to be a pessimist, then we will constantly see things in a bad light. On the whole, Chronicles of Life in Poetry will be a splendid collection as the messages are filled with many life’s touching moments—pleasures and melancholies.

The poet deals with an array of situations in life which I can easily identify with. His choice of words aptly demonstrates his unique ability to negotiate and discuss issues using connotations that only poetry lovers can unravel. The anthology is a reassuring read with heaps of motivational words and the hope of staying vigilant against all odds in this vicious world of substance as illustrated in Keep me up. Everything’s great is about the need for self-reflections in bliss and agony as a way forward. All in all, this compendium of poetries which touches on a wide range of daily tussles and the fair hope of victory over mind-boggling situations would surely enhance the readers’ understanding of the multifaceted scope of real life experiences.

Preface
With the gift of words and ideas to write almost spontaneously, my love for poetry-writing grew. It started with my pure interest in expressing my views about my personal encounters in life.
It all began as a new voyage for me when I realized that there is so much to share about living strong and not submitting the self to unnecessary tribulations and miseries. It is my earnest desire
