Look dear Mother, what we all see.
In your beautiful eyes and precious soul.
In your kind heart and peaceful mind.
We see the best creature shine.
You our mother, took care of us.
You, our mother who held us.
You, our mother, did this and that.
You, our mother, a precious treasure we have.
My mother looked after us when we were sick.
Mother, oh, dear you are needed here, do help me with this, do help me with that.
And you gave me this smile and next to me you sat.
You helped me in homework, you taught me housework.
You told us bed stories and you told us of different glories.
You treated us when we got scratched.
And with that soft touch of yours, we felt better and were glad.
If we ever talked rudely, we do feel sorry.
If we ever made a face, we are unhappy,
Because we made you sad so we know that it was all bad.
Do forgive us for that and please smile.
Because your calm face
