Seven salient points I want you to know and write in the marble of your heart:

Nothing just happens. Anything good or bad happening to you is for a purpose; you were born in riches or a rag for a purpose. If you can identify with that purpose, you will surely make your dreams a reality.

It is not what the enemy is doing to you that is killing you; not the society you are in; not the promises some politicians, relatives and associates fail to keep; not the family and community you came from; it is what you have failed to do with yourself that is killing you.

Life failure is not the absence of opportunities but the absence of vision. You will create whatever opportunities you want in life when you have a vision; that is why you shouldnt fight your way to be in the presence of great men; rather identify your gift, and when you do, it will make a way for you and bring you before great men.

If God can trust you, He will increase your capacity to receive more from him. And one of the reasons you are in the struggle and things dont seem to be working to your favor is because you have not earned Gods trust.

A man with a vision struggles less than a man without a vision to pursue; goals to attain and targets to achieve. Conceive your vision today and pursue it diligently, because if you dont, other people will hire you to pursue theirs.

God never created anybody useless; if He knows you are useless, why would He spend his resources to create you? Your limitation is not entirely your situation, but your understanding of who you are. Biology is studied based on its definition; same applies to life. Your life is what you define it to be.

It would have been better if you were aborted at conception than to live through life not achieving your purpose. Whom should I cry for, the fellow who died untimely or the fellow that is alive and without a purpose?

OPENING CHARGE

You are what you are because of who you are!

It can be better or worse than it is; it’s all tied to who you are

Everything you will ever need to put yourself among the great people the world will ever produce is in you. If you want to be numbered among the great people the world will produce; keep doing the worthy and productive things you are doing, and you can never be a shot fall from world greatest men.

The worth of our life comes not by where we are; what we have, or the people we know, but by who we are. Let nothing stops you. Stop looking at the circumstances around you; they are mere inconveniences and distraction to stop you from getting to greatness. That you came from a modest background does not mean that you cannot be great; Go ask Barack Obama, Nelson Mandela, David Beckham, Oprah Winfrey; Bishop T.D Jakes, Pst. Enoch Adeboye and many others. If you want to ask further; go ask Ben Carson or Bill Gates.

Refuse to die the Man you are, if you are not satisfied with the Man that you want to be.

A principle is something that can work anywhere; anyplace and anytime; for instance, if you throw a piece of paper up in Europe, the law of gravity will pull it down, same principle apply if you throw that same piece of paper up in Africa. If it can work for one man, it can work for every man. It can work for you!

It is not often times about the environment or family background; it’s about you; your inside man. What lies around us don’t really matter compare to what lies within us. – Emerson. It is not what the society and enemy is doing to you that is killing you; it is what you have failed to do with yourself that is killing you.

Who you are, is what you produce. The result you produce or level you are presently in is fallout of who you are; not necessarily the contacts that you have. …As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he. Prov23:7.

When men are seeing dry bones, you should be seeing an army of soldiers. When men are seeing desserts, you should be seeing Oasis. When men are seeing famine, you should be seeing harvest. The future you see is the future you get. What future can you see for yourself?

It is what you see that you can reach. What you don’t see, you can’t reach. The business is failing because you are seeing it with the eyes of failure, the relationship is falling apart because you are thinking it so, if you can see it otherwise, it will happen otherwise!

The fruit is a product of the tree. Either make the tree good and his fruit good; or make the tree corrupt and his fruit will be corrupt. For the tree is known by his fruit. Matt. 12:33. Stop trying to change the fruit; Change the tree instead. Your mindset is the tree here.

Refuse to die the Man you are, if you are not satisfied with the Man that you want to be. You are a light; let nothing stops you from shinning. There are no hopeless situations in life, its only people that grow hopeless about their situation.

A Chinese proverbs state: There are only two days in a man’s entire life time to plant a tree; the day he was born and today. It is never too late to start a thing. Get a picture in your mind today of how well you want to go in life and work with it. It will only tarry but I bet you; you must surely get there, if only you will not be unfaithful to God; doubt your goals and quit the mission.

There are no hopeless situations in life, it’s only People that grow hopeless about their situation

The eleventh paragraph in the article; President Abraham Lincoln letter to his son’s teacher reads; teach him to have faith in his own ideas, even if everyone tells him they are wrong.

Everything people complain and grumble about is a potential wealth creator; this you may not know. For instance; if you wait an hour plus every day before you get a Taxi to take you to your destination; you should realize that there are few Taxis in your City and as such Invest in Taxi transportation instead of complaining. Every pain comes with a gain, but not every eye can see the gain there is.

It’s in you! You are what you are because of who you are! God have your life already mapped out and it’s only him that can navigate it through the storms life will throw at you, and bring you to your expected end in the midst of the storm. The Scripture in Matt. 4:19 read … Follow me and I will make you … Whatever you want to be in life, only God can make you it.

PREFACE

Nothing just happens!

Before you commence reading this book, I want you to think about everything that you have been through; Good and bad, it didn’t just happen. I want you to understand that the steps of a good man are ordered by the lord and he delighted in his way Psalm 37:23.

Think about the things in your life you feel makes no sense; some of them are painful; hard to bear; frightening, because you have anxiety; uncertainty and apprehension about what is going to come out of it. I want you to bath your soul with this words, that; your life is not chaotic, confused, disorderly, miscalculated but everything in your life have been carefully orchestrated by a God who is the conductor over the affairs and the events in your life and I want you to get this deep down in your heart; that whether things are good or bad from day to day that: nothing just happens!

There is a reason why what is happening to you, is happening at this age, stage and level of your life. It is not a mistake or accident; God didn’t fall asleep; He is still in complete control of your life.

It didn’t just happen that you are going through what you are going through; It didn’t just happen that you were born with a golden spoon; silver spoon or born without a spoon; it didn’t just happen that you are getting married or breaking a relationship; it didn’t just happen that, you just secured a job or you are losing a job; it didn’t just happen that a relative invited you in or a relative throws you out and is walking out on you; it didn’t just happen that you are living in your own house or you are still living in tenancy; it didn’t just happen that you have fleets of cars or you are without a bicycle. Sometimes you can have something and not appreciate it until you lose it. Most at times; you are whining over things that really don’t matter; you are complaining over things that don’t make any difference in your life and if you are not smart enough, you will not learn to count your blessings; however big or small they are, and thank God for what He has done in your life. God blesses you more, when you appreciative.

There is something about you going through something that doesn’t seem fair; that when you are in it, you will think you cannot change or alter what you are going through, but I want you to know that there is something good that will come out of it.

You should realize that you are not going through the pain for nothing; you need to make something good come out of it and if you can’t, you will feel like a victim and will forever feel sorry for yourself, and you will not be free to go on with your life, this is why some people will feel unsafe to get into a relationship again after they have experience unfaithfulness and have been separated from one, or some people will not want to continue, when they suffer setback in achieving a set goal; because they have unresolved issues with your past life.

The devil has not gotten hold of your life; he can’t destroy you; he hasn’t wrecked you; your life is not over; you are not on hold; it’s not too late; God knows about your limitation, when He gets ready to bless you, He puts into consideration no factor; He just blesses you.

You need to know that demonic influences of the enemy have not taken over your life; that all hell have not broken lose and that Satan have not snatch the steering wheel of your life from God and is driving you to hell, you need to know that God is not through working out his plan concerning you and that sooner or later, He is going to do something new in your life that will make you celebrate; you need to know that nothing just happens.

What do you do when you miss out of your season and you are out of time? There are people that when they are running out of time, they become bitter, desperate and start pushing people away from their life with their attitude because they feel the people around them is requiring from them; what they can’t give, and then they will find themselves in the place of depletion and will feel like God have forgotten them; let me remind you again, that nothing just happens, and anything good or evil that happens is for a divine purpose.

There is a reason why what is happening to you, is happening at this age, stage and level of your life. It is not a mistake or accident; God didn’t fall asleep; He is still in complete control of your life; He knows what you are going through; Good or bad. Understand that and tell yourself nothing just happens.

When events in your life are super rough and unbearable and at times you fall out of salvation, you should know that you are still in God’s will. Jonah was sent to Nineveh but went to Tarsus not obeying God; got thrown out of the boat into the belly of a fish and was swallowed up for three days, even though God told him to go to Nineveh and he didn’t go, he was still in the will. He went the wrong way, but he was still in the will. God used a fish to fulfill his assignment for Jonah. Your mistakes, trouble, pains are all in God’s will. The Architect when designing a house does not only take into consideration the number of good blocks that will be needed, he takes into consideration also the damaged blocks.

It doesn’t matter what you are going through. David said … behold if I make my bed in hell, thou are there, if I go to the uttermost part of the earth, thou are there Psalm 139:8-9. God is always with you, you should care less what you are going through; he has it all in control.

Pain is the strange company keeper; it brings the oddest people together. There is a secret fraternity that exists among people who are in pains, that is why you see the blind folks packed in fold; the leprous ones in their fold too. When you have been through certain things, you will feel for other people who are passing through it, because you are in a way related to them. God can do more in your pains than in your successes, because your life successes are made out of the ingredient of your struggles and you can never know your successes, until you understand your struggles.

It doesn’t matter what you are going through. David said … behold if I make my bed in hell, thou are there, if I go to the uttermost part of the earth, thou are there Psalm 139:8-9. God is always with you, you should care less what you are going through; He has it all in control. Nothing just happens.

God have a plan for you. What He has predestined to happen in your life will come to pass. No Devil in and outside hell have been able to stop Gods purpose; not once. No human or spiritual factor can change Gods divine will except God allows it. And if God allows it; it is for a reason and will last for only a season. It is not to kill you, but to build you.

Think about the most embarrassing, impoverish, scandalous, financial depleting things; people who once love you but now are kicking you out, betrayal of the highest level of your life, past sins, how your superiors treat you; eviction from your house, those times in your life when you were in the midst of hell and high waters, your partner who left you for someone else and know that nothing just happens!

God is not ready to hear your excuses like He didn’t hear that of Abraham, because He knows that your excuses are fear induced. Nothing
