I Beleive in Fairies - John lenning
I Believe in Fairies
Hello my name is Larry
Long time ago I never believed in fairies
But now I truly believe
Oh yes they exist I would not deceive
One day when I was ten
I was being chased by a gang of bullies led by Len
He was not a very nice boy
He liked to pick on me and break my toys
I ran into a large hedge to hide
They ran on by but I saw something on the ground by my side
It looked like a bug but it was not moving
It was small but it was glowing
Then it started to move and turned and yelled at me
You big oaf can’t you see
I was talking to that bumble bee
Asking if he seen the big oak tree
Well my name is dilly
And stop staring at me silly
Yes I am a fairy
I’m not cute or cuddly or scary
But fairies don’t exist anymore
Dilly then fell to the ground and was no more
Boy I thought that was strange
Until I was surround by hundreds of fairies who put me in a cage
Then in front of me dilly appeared
Who had just disappeared
Oh we don’t exist
Well here are my brothers and sisters shall I name them off a list
It was bad enough that you almost flatten me
But you said you didn’t believe in fairies that is against the law you see
Now for your crime you will become a fairy
Until you do a good deed to someone who is mean and scary
What I screamed you can’t do that to me
The fairies all began to laugh for they already turned me into a farie you see
I was blue from head to toe I started to cry
I had wings so I could fly
I was no longer in a cage
But I was mad and in a rage
Dilly flew in front of me and I took a swing at her
But she just ducked and giggled she was so fast she was a blur
I stopped she was just too fast
And I was getting tired I would not last
So you done acting a fool
Now listen it’s your fault so be cool
I will explained the 3 rules
If you break them you will be turned into a ghoul
No one can see you that is your fate
You have to help someone you hate
You only have 24 hours don’t be late
I asked if I don’t succeed
She said a ghoul you will be that’s the law so hurry or you won’t be freed
Then she vanished in a blink of an eye
I thought oh boy I am going to die
It was a little past noon
So if I am going to help Len the goon
I better get going he lives next door
He wasn’t always like this we were friends before
His brother past away
I think it was 2 years today
I’m not too sure how he died
But I remember that Len sure cried
Ok let’s see if I can fly
Wings don’t fail me I don’t want to die
Off
