This book is a pure demonstration of how a curse is passed down from generation to generation. By reading the numerous biblical instances in the book, it became more practicable and sensible for me to do some thinking and research. It enabled me to discover the reason certain things were happening in my life, and in that of my family.

Ordinarily, I would have made no big fuss about the situation. For example, it is interesting to see how sexual sin (which is more or less a generational and ancestral curse) passed down the generational line of David’s ancestors (Rehab and Judah). Sexual sin kept recurring down the family line of Judah, because the root of the problem was never dealt with. Even David’s descendants trailed the same path of generational curse of sexual sin. The prayers written in this book were framed in such a way that you can personalize them and adopt them as your own prayer, especially in the realm of tracing the root of a curse, and breaking and uprooting curses that affect your life. Sometimes the right words do not freely flow in one’s prayer. Praying with the prayers provided in this book made it a lot easier for me to flow from the natural into the spirit realm.

This book is a thriller. I have read the book of Esther several times. I have learnt resilience, faithfulness, and what I call raw faith. I have also learned the importance of fasting and the awesome ways the Lord fights for his servants (divine deliverance). I never thought of connecting, or even heard any preacher connect, the book of Esther to ancestral curses, their origins, and their being a likely result of national or race rivalry. Most importantly, no one has ever thought of the way Esther and Mordecai broke a generational curse that would have resulted in a total annihilation of the Jewish race! In a brilliant way, Dr. Pauline made this important archeological excavation through divine revelation. She traced this problem to the rivalry between Esau and Jacob, which followed the Israelites on their return to Israel from Egypt, when the Amalekites were unkind to them. This rivalry was inherited by Haman (a descendant of Amalek) and Mordecai (a Jew). As a resultant, it was a lot easier and was a pleasure to use the sample prayers, seeing the practical results in the book of Esther.

Recently, I have been experiencing a series of false accusation, mostly at work. This book became my strong partner. Reading it, I understood that I not only had to deal with the imminent problem but to go for the root cause. At times when I was overwhelmed and too anxious to put my thoughts together and manufacture the right words, the prayers written in this book were very helpful.

Dr. Pauline Walley-Daniel has often counseled me to let the Holy Spirit intercede for me. In this book, the Holy Spirit poured the right intercessory language and wisdom through Dr. Pauline. In the process, my confidence and faith for my victory were a lot stronger, as I prayed in the pattern that Esther and Mordecai, King Hezekiah, and others prayerfully trusted the Lord and had a breakthrough. Editorial Comment

Through the process of editing this book, I had the opportunity to read it at the same time. I am glad to have gotten the opportunity, because my understanding on curses has been taken to another level. Provided with the biblical examples, everything was clear. Yes, Dr. Pauline has been teaching on curses since last year, but the way I analyzed it back then is very different from the way I see it now. It did not take much for me to be instantly moved by what I was reading. I found myself repenting before the Lord, asking for his unending mercy to deliver me from the consequences of having cursed someone.

Now when I say curse, I do not mean for example, Erin, you and your children will never be successful! No, I mean, Erin, you’re so dumb. That instance was in a joking manner, but whether I am joking or not, I have just cursed this girl by telling her she is dumb, basically stupid. I, of course, was not aware of what implications my words could cause until I read this book. The curse may not even come from my mouth—maybe from a friend. However, the act of just agreeing with my friend that someone is not capable of success in life strengthens the effect of the pronounced curse.

Consequently, I felt extremely bad thinking back on the various people—friends, family members, and acquaintances—I had cursed out of ignorance. I have come to learn that curses are no joke, and are nothing to joke with. Just like you would not play around with guns, do not toy around with your words. I have already started telling my mom she must buy this book as soon as it is published and released.

Praise to God for revealing in depth how dangerous we humans can be to ourselves! Now we have guidance from God to destroy the curses we have put into action, and we also have a guide in preventing ourselves from making such pronouncements. Lord, thank you for such a revelation of wisdom you have given Dr. Pauline to share with your people!

The Grace

One of my major duties as an apostle of deliverance ministration is to enter the realms of prayer to decipher the type of communication that is needed to solve a particular type of problem. During the sphere of my daily explorations, I have discovered that most of the prayers that are commonly offered are not quite appropriate and adequate to solve problems. However, the Almighty God, being the Lord of mercy, has always granted us grace beyond measure to solve our problems. God is so rich in mercy that he showers us with grace freely to pardon our sins. He forgives us, even when we are ignorant and despise the act of forgiveness.

The Need for Prayer

An average of seven to ten people contact our office daily to ask prayer for one need or another. Some call in by phone, some send e-mails, some send written requests in the mail, and others walk in or buzz the doorbell. Most of the prayer requests that we receive are not properly defined—some of the reason being that the individuals concerned are too overwhelmed to find out the actual problems that interfere with them. Some insist that you should just pray anything that could give some form of relief. Some tell a long story, lasting thirty to forty-five minutes, and still have a lot to say if they are given the time to continue. Some stories connect with everyone from the individual’s family members, friends, environment, and employment, but possibly exclude the person who is requesting the prayer. Meanwhile, that individual could be the cause or center of the very pain in action.

Demand for Justice

Sometimes the expectation of the individuals asking for prayer is a demand for justice and condemnation. In such a case, I have to seek information about the matter before offering a prayer that could attract divine intervention; otherwise, my efforts would be in vain. Sometimes the individuals have gone around in circles on different prayer-lines and to churches seeking the most effective avenues to solve the impending problems.

Remote Control

Some of the people seeking help are not ready to listen to any form of instructions or guidance that can nullify the interfering evil. Most people are seeking remote-control assistance. They want you to press the button on a prayer remote control that provides quick solutions. Some are also seeking a remote-control appliance that they can use at all times whenever they feel a need for a solution.

Legalism of Prayers

Prayer is a legal matter; therefore, it must be treated on legal grounds. The appropriate legal languages and documents are needed to profile an effective communication that would attract divine intervention.

Satan is a legalist. Scripture describes him as the accuser of the brethren. He constantly points out our errors to God, seeking legal grounds to torment and harass us.

Unless we transgress the laws of God, the enemy has no legal grounds to interfere with us. As soon as we offend the laws of God and disrespect his commands, the enemy uses our faults and weaknesses to gain advantage against us. Therefore, it is crucial for us to follow the various procedures required to defeat and destroy the enemy of our destiny.

For instance, no attorney goes to court without legal documents to make a case, or to defend a victim of an offense. Similarly, no judge would listen to a lawyer who comes to court unprepared, and without any legal acquaintance with court procedures. The matter would lose its legal operands, and the issue would be thrown out of court.

Prayer is effective when we observe biblical proceedings and respect the laws of God. Curses can be defeated and destroyed when we submit ourselves to scriptural truth. And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free (Romans 8:32).

Destroying Curses

Prayer is warfare against the enemy of our life and destiny. Seeking solutions to matters that are curse oriented demands that one engage the enemy involved in warfare. Wars cannot be fought to finish instantly without major preparation. The enemy cannot be defeated or destroyed without effective strategies.

This book, Strategic Deliverance Solutions: Discover and Destroy Ancestral Curses, shows you how to trace the root and source of affliction. It explains the dynamics of how to indulge in a solution-oriented mission in order to conquer and destroy the root of the problem.

Purpose of Long Prayers

The essence of the long prayers presented in this book reveal the impact of unending wars that were often encountered in the nations by the United States of America. The different types of prayers also explain the indulgence of the United Nations as the peacekeeping force mediating and intervening at war fronts.

The long prayers presented in this book, are the necessary legal languages that represent different types of equipment and artillery employed in warfare and confrontation. Just as in the case of the military, the legal terminologies exhibited in the prayers are weapons that are used against the enemy on battlefields.

For instance, the United States of America was involved in a war with Iraq, Iran, and Afghanistan for several years. The purpose of this indulgence was to stop some form of terrorism, oppression, and destruction of human lives that was practiced in these nations. Although the United States of America may withdraw its troops from the war front to return home, the wars were still unending, because terrorism is rooted in Satanism. Most of the human forces involved in terrorism have a pact with Satan. They are enemies of peace and tranquility. They are agents of destruction. They are lovers of evil and drunkards of human blood. Terrorists are sadists who delight in the destruction of human lives.

Similarly, the individuals who perpetrate curses are destroyers of destinies. The practitioners of diabolism are hired to invoke curses against innocent people. Some of the curses sent out have spanned hundreds of generations. In order to uproot and destroy a curse that has been planted over hundreds of years, well-equipped prayer strategies must be employed. Hence, the long prayers are needed to fight persistently against the enemy. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much (James 5:16). Except by divine measure, a five-minute effort cannot uproot a tree that was planted twenty-five to one hundred years ago. We are commanded to Pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17).
