After reading through the manuscript, I am very convinced that this piece is a must read for all serious Christians who are not ready to waste time or embark on hunger strike in the name of fasting and prayers. I regard Evangelist Rosemary Oduko’s book on ‘Christian Fasting and Praying for Positive Results’ as a very useful reference and important fascinating book that digs dip into the rudiment of result oriented fasting and praying.

It is worthy of note that far too many Christians are embarking on purposeless fasting and prayers as rightly put by Prophet Isaiah in Isaiah 58:5 ‘Is it a fast that I have chosen, A day for a man to afflict his soul? She is careful to distinguish between the Christian approach to fasting and prayer and fasting arising from the demands of a medical condition.
