John R. Fischer
John Fischer is the son-in law of the founder of DHL, Adrian Dalsey. He lived and worked in Asia during the 1970’s and started DHL offices in Singapore,Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and South Vietnam. Along with the other partner of DHL, Larry Hillblom he prevented the government from closing down DHL in Hong Kong and Korea. The author has been in the shipping business for the last 40 years. He has three grown children, Holly, Ben and John Eric and has resided in Walnut Creek, California for the last 25 years.
