Acknowledgements
First and foremost, I’d like to thank my Heavenly Father for allowing my imagination to flow. I truly know with out his Grace and Mercy, this book could not have been written. He saved my life! I like to say thank you to everyone who’ve been apart of my book writing production. I’d like to especially give thanks to my mother for bringing me into this big old world. With all that said, I really like to thank some more special people: Felecia Meredith, Yvonne Rose (for editing my manuscript, great job!), Ray Floyd (for designing and putting my idea of the book cover to action, therefore, producing a beautiful book cover. Check Ray out at www.jussray.com), Ebony Moore, Kathy Keemp, Ms.V (you always remind me about the .99 cents specials at the soul food spot on Crenshaw, good looking out), Big Spike (appreciate every time you let me go up on stage at your Mo Better Monday Comedy Production at the Hollywood Improv), Mr. Dubie (Good looking out for a brother when I was out in the streets), Executives at BET’S Comic View and The Bay Area Black Comedy Competition and Festival, Charles Jackson (you are another good brother. The Crenshaw Vampire
Chapter 1
Christmas Eve
On the Eastside of Los Angeles, California near Crenshaw Boulevard and 147th Street three individuals were found dead, each with three bite marks in their necks. This happened on Christmas Eve December 24, 2004 around 11:30 pm. The three bodies were found right beside each other. One of the victims was an African American woman and the other two were Hispanic males.
The LAPD arrives at the scene of the crime, not knowing which way to start investigating. All three victims seem to have bled to death. Sergeant Earl Jones kneels down to get a close-up on the dead victims. Yep, their jugular veins are totally destroyed; this had to be a very crazy and insane individual to create this mess,
indicates Sergeant Jones. The bodies were covered and removed.
I wonder what led up to this
, stated Earl Jones.
On the other hand, down a hundred and something blocks away on Crenshaw and 48th Street, there is a club that’s jumping all night long. Club Underground is a private club for members only. David Williams is the owner of the establishment. The club serves drinks and party favors all night. It has been operating for about 2 years with no problems at all.
On the night of the murders just blocks away, there was an argument in the basement of Club Underground with two of its regular VIP members. The males were arguing over a woman. The woman happened to be the young black woman who was found dead on Crenshaw and one hundred and forty-seventh street.
Jack Lewis who was a retired police officer was living the life of an underground player. He had just snorted a line of powder cocaine when he began to talk bad to Charles Mc Cain. Hey Charles, did you have something to do with the murder of fine ass Wanda?
Man why would you say some shit like that? You know me and Wanda were cool as a fan,
replied Charles.
I just know you and she were talking around 10:00 pm and it seemed like the conversation got heated and she ran out of the club and you went running behind her,
replied Jack.
There you go trying to investigate some shit. Ain’t you retired? It seems to me your ass should be worried about your cocaine habit because you are spending all your retirement money in this joint
, replied Charles.
Man, fuck you! I can do what the fuck I want,
indicates Jack. I just asked you a simple question about you and Wanda. Well never mind, we can’t do anything now that the bitch is dead
, said Jack.
Watch your mouth, I had feelings for Wanda
, says Charles.
My bad!
Replied Jack. Man, you know that there have been a lot of people coming up dead or missing after leaving this club,
replied Jack.
You are right about that
, says Charles.
Anyway, I’m going upstairs to pull me a chick and bring her back to the basement to give me some head,
replied Jack.
Jack and Charles leave the basement area and head to the upstairs bar. Jack orders a vodka and orange juice and tells the bartender to send him a girl. Charles orders himself a drink and heads to the corner chair to chills. Meanwhile, Jack heads to the basement and sits on the couch. He pulls out a small bag of powder cocaine and begins to snort it.
Five minutes later a young fine lady around her 20’s approaches Jack. Hi, my name is Daisy and what is yours?
I’m Jack!
Well, Jack what are you in the mood for?
, replied Daisy.
Well, to be honest with you, I would love to get some head,
indicates Jack.
I have no problem with that. How much money are you willing to spend?
asked Daisy.
I have a hundred on it
, replied Jack.
Without any question, Daisy unzips Jack pants and begins to suck up and down for 20 minutes. Jack sits back as if he was in Heaven. He begins to take a line of coke to the head as Daisy gives him head.
O, baby, this shit feels so good that I would like to have you for the whole night
, replied Jack. Not saying a word, Daisy continues to suck Jack’s Dick until he lets out butter. Damn, that felt good!
replied Jack.
As you were saying how much would it cost to have me for the night, it will be $500 until the morning,
indicates Daisy. That will be fine, let me go get a sack of powder from my man and we can bounce. By the way, do you mind if I get some cocaine?
replied Jack.
Not at all as long as you get enough for me as well,
replied Daisy.
One hour later, Jack and Daisy end up at the Parkview Motel off of Crenshaw near Century. Jack goes to the front desk to reserve a room for the night. He approaches the window with a smile on his face. The Chinese receptionist looks at him with a look of disgust. However, he needs the business. May I help you?
replied the Chinese man. Yes, I would like to get a room for the night for me and my guest. Also, can I get a wake up call at 7:00am?
asked Jack.
Yes, that will be $75 dollars,
indicates the Chinese receptionist. Seventy-five dollars on Crenshaw! Damn, this is highway robbery,
replied Jack.
You want to stay, you pay!
replied the Chinese man. Jack pays for the room in disappointment. You will be at the end in room 166
, replied the Chinese receptionist.
Jack takes the key and heads back to his car where Daisy is
