CHANGE YOUR LIFE IN

60 TO 90 DAYS!

6 0 to 90 days of regularly practicing Mind Power exercises is usually the amount of time needed to begin changing your world. Deeply entrenched habits may take longer, but remarkable changes will still happen during/after 60-90 days of regularly practicing exercises. Thought patterns set the course of your life, which is why the Buddha said, The mind is everything. What you think you become. Since mind is all, we should spend 60-90 days practicing Mind Power exercises to change your thought patterns.

Hindu Prince Gautama Siddharta, the founder of Buddhism, 563-483 B.C., said, All that we are is the result of what we have thought. ... We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we make the world. ... The thought manifests as the word, the word manifests as the deed; The deed develops into habit; And habit hardens into character. So watch the thought and its ways with care. Thought is most important, so be willing to practice mental exercises for 60-90 days. Change unproductive thought patterns. Detox your thoughts. Emmet Fox said, You must not allow yourself to dwell for a single moment on any kind of negative thought.

Master your mind and get your thoughts together. H.M. Tomlinson said, The World is what we think it is. If we can change our thoughts, we can change the world. This world is mental, so your reality is based on whether your thinking is positive or negative. Zig Ziglar said, Positive thinking will let you do everything better than negative thinking will. Elbert Hubbard said, Positive anything is better than negative nothing. All the great teachers pointed to the fact that by changing your thoughts, you’ll change your world. Bill Meyer perfectly summarized the teaching when he said, Every thought is a seed. If you plant crab apples, don’t count on harvesting Golden Delicious.

Make sure you never speak words against yourself. Every word you speak should work for you, not against you. Eliminate negative self-talk. Affirmations are the key to life and the simplest method of mind power. The affirmation mind power exercise consists of creating a statement that represents what you want to happen in your life and repeating it over and over again for 60 to 90 days. Write an affirmation and repeat it to yourself every day. Some of the affirmations I’m saying in my current 90 day cycle are: The inflow of nonphysical energies consumes me I always have more money coming in than going out My DNA is programmed to be healthy I will always have enough of everything. Money flows freely and abundantly into my life.

In every life situation, focus on all the positive outcomes. Destruction comes from focusing only on the negative. Whatever you focus on and give your attention to is what will manifest. Whatever you constantly think about is where you’re focusing your energy. When you find yourself thinking in agreement with the dark side, direct your thinking to have your mind focus on anything positive. Ensure that your mind is nourishing you with its thoughts. By directing your thoughts, you can choose your mindstate. Never let your mind think whatever it wants. You will become the essence of your constant thought. Watch your mind!

Use Mind Power to get the results you desire. Your thoughts and beliefs determine whether or not you’ll achieve success. The carnal mind (a mind lost in the ways of the world’s system) naturally worries and expects the worst to happen. Mind Power is important because the mind will eventually believe whatever images and thoughts you feed it. How the mind works is clearly explained in my book, ‘Transform Your World Through The Powers Of Your Mind.’ The principles are outlined in all of my books, but you must PRACTICE them. Positive results will naturally follow one who practices the principles of right thinking.

Learn mind power and practice it daily. Your subconscious picks up newly imprinted images and works with them regardless of your past. See and feel yourself how you want to be, and use affirmations. Mind Power can be used in any type of situation. Practice daily with Mind Power and take action to bring you closer to what you’re affirming. As you do your contemplations or affirmations, the reality of what you’re contemplating or affirming will take hold within you. Focus on the feeling of having what you want. Through the ups and downs of life, always continue with your exercises. As you work with the power of your thoughts, your subconscious mind will reach out to you and show you the way.

Contemplations, affirmations, and other Mind Power techniques deepen the relationship with your subconscious. Working with consciousness and energy is using the power of the mind in revolutionary ways. Visualizations and affirmations should be a part of everyone’s life. Affirmations are just words; you don’t even have to believe in affirmations for them to work! Just repeat them for 60 to 90 days without missing a single day. Write down what you want in a short statement and repeat it by rote without thinking about it. Setting aside 15 to 30 minutes a day every day to practice Mind Power is a great way to use time to your benefit.

Write or look for affirmations that feel right for you. You can use general affirmations or create specific affirmations. Using both general and specific affirmations will cause one to begin vibrating with new energy. Practice the creativity of designing affirmations. Write a statement initially, then change words within it until it feels exactly right. Affirmations should be precise, not a long detailed outline of exactly what you want. The shorter the better. Simple general affirmations will work for you when repeated again and again. Affirmations too detailed and long are difficult to repeat, so keep them short.

Your daily 5 to 10 minute period of affirming is the most important period of the day. Affirmations have an effect, even without concentrating on them. Results come from simply repeating them. Even though you may not be paying attention while repeating affirmations, your subconscious mind is, which is why you’ll still receive the benefit of the repeated affirmations. This is why it is important to totally commit every day without fail to your mind power program.

All my books are filled with life-changing information. The methods therein will help anyone completely turn his or her life around. The Mind Power system discussed in all my projects works if you’ll work diligently both with your thoughts and your actions. Create a new life for yourself by practicing the master key to everything you require: Mind Power. Working with your thoughts is how you change your life into a successful and happy life. Mind is all, which is why philosopher and psychologist William James said, A new life is but a new mind.

The life force exists everywhere in abundance and is the energy of the universe. Consciousness directs energy, which is why I do Mind Power exercises every day. Use Mind Power to align with and vibrate energy. You can work on manifesting several things at the same time or one goal. I usually have my affirmations cover money, health, and relationships. Find affirmations that cover every area of your life which needs work.

Agreeing with Mind Power principles means nothing if you refuse to put them into practice. By practicing Mind Power 20 to 30 minutes a day, one can completely transform his or her life. However, it is difficult to change old patterns. Most people come up with explanations, reasons, and excuses as to why they can’t practice Mind Power DAILY. Power is available to you, but you must do certain things day in and day out. If you don’t practice Mind Power daily, you will never know the power it manifests.

Earthians as a whole are unconscious, due to the fact that they identify themselves so completely with mind and thought. This is what spiritual teachers are pointing to when they say, You are not your mind. Humanity has forgotten that our mind is only a part of who we are. In reality, we are beings of consciousness and energy. Our makeup consists of a body, mind, subconscious mind, and soul. We become whole and complete by integrating all four parts of who we are. We awaken when we have all parts of us working for us. Everything becomes possible when we awaken and integrate the body, mind, subconscious mind, and soul.

Your life is based, but not totally based on your thoughts. Your thoughts influence what happens to you. Your thoughts and beliefs determine what will happen to you in the future. Thoughts are a major factor in one’s life, but not the only factor. Fate, destiny, and the mysteries of life that are nonunderstandable must be factored in. We only have control over our thoughts and beliefs, so we should work with them in a systematic way (as taught in my book ‘The Gospel According To Jawara King’). We have no control over the mysteries of life that we don’t understand, fate, and other people. In light of the facts, we must properly control our thoughts and beliefs to be able to navigate through life successfully.

Life involves the pleasant and unpleasant. All that we go through is a means by which we can know ourselves. Life/God is in a relationship with us, which is why we should pay attention to our desires, fears, repulsions, dreams, feelings, and all the experiences of life. Listen to your life and thoughts. Take in everything that happens to you. We get to know and understand ourselves by acknowledging our interests and noticing our desires. Honoring your inner self and paying attention to your soul draws you closer to understanding yourself.

Follow your passion and trust the universe. All of us will find ourselves in a rut at some point. Taking any sort of action (like starting a 90-day affirmation program) is the first step to getting out of a rut. Taking on challenges causes one thing to lead to another. As you embrace the opportunities presented to you, the next step will reveal itself. Earth-born human entities never know in advance where their lives will lead them. Great things happen when one thinks and acts in visionary ways. Every long journey begins by taking the first step. Stop thinking about ‘how’ and just do it!

Believe in yourself. Act daily in ways that support your vision. Do something every day to bring you closer to your goal. Watch the content of your mind to ensure that you’re using your thoughts creatively. Set up a daily Mind Power program. Imagine yourself having whatever you want. Feel the energy of having your desires. Change your beliefs and mental images. Write affirmations to repeat 10 to 20 times each daily for 60 to 90 days. The more you repeat these affirmations, the more they become your internal guidance system. As you practice Mind Power exercises daily, things will eventually work themselves out.

Neuroplasticity is the ability of the brain to rewire itself. Mind Power exercises rewire the mind. The most important thing in life is establishing a regular routine of daily feeding your mind with thoughts that reflect what you want to achieve. The exact time of your exercises doesn’t matter, as long as you do them every day. Mental exercises will change your behaviour and cause you to grow in confidence. As you affirm daily and see what you want in your mind’s eye, you’ll become the qualities you’re projecting. Whether or not you believe what you’re saying is irrelevent. Just write affirmations that cover your short-term and long-term goals and say them every day.

Utilize the Law of Attraction by deciding what you want, visualizing it, and saying affirmations. I’m currently working on attracting money and abundance. Some of my current affirmations are: Money is flowing to me now. Money comes to me in fun and surprising ways. My financial situation is improving day by day. Money comes to me in unexpected ways. The universe provides everything I need. Financial resources are lining up for me now. Affirmations are what I live by. Living by Mind Power is my way of life!

Don’t get frustrated with your current circumstances, which means you’re focusing on lack. Constantly looking at your current circumstances only creates more of what is. Being inconsistent with the techniques I’m presenting won’t change anything. Giving 10% of your focus to things you do want and 90% of your focus to things you don’t want keeps you trapped.

Instead of doubting or giving up, master your ability to attract what you want in life by learning how to master your own thoughts. Positive thoughts will bring you mostly positive experiences. Negative thoughts manifest mostly negative experiences. Your thoughts have to be aligned with the frequency of what you really want. You’re either on a positive or negative frequency. The magnetic power of thought attracts other corresponding thoughts. The feelings emanating from your thoughts emit signals to the universe. The universe then returns experiences aligned with those signals. The cycle continues because these experiences trigger more corresponding thoughts and feelings.

Thinking about negativity makes you feel more negative. Feeling negative summons the universe to bring you more negative experiences, causing you to think and feel MORE negatively if you don’t understand or break the cycle. Stop focusing on what you don’t want and start focusing on what you do want. Tip the balance by thinking more positive thoughts. Feel the essence of positivity and abundance. Tune into your feelings. Reciting affirmations related to what you want will slowly change the way you feel and begin attracting more of that reality to you. Start right now by changing your mind-set to align with winning!

THE EARTH EXPERIENCE

Y our entire experience as a human being is to lift people’s consciousness. Your life’s purpose is to achieve what mystical Christians call Christ Consciousness, Buddhists call Nirvana, and the yogis call Samadhi. Enlightened humans are able to see the miracles of life unfolding daily.

Earthians lost in the physical world live for the pleasures of this world, while the Wise Ones are rich as a result of living in the state of needing nothing. True abundance comes from giving your full attention to serving the world. Needing nothing is the consciousness which allows one to get everything. Those lost in the cares of this world are living as if they’re disconnected from their higher self. Light workers give without expectation and seek to move toward enlightenment.

Being fully conscious of the God inside of you withdraws assistance from spirit and helps you rise above thought (enlightenment). The more enlightened you become, the less interest you’ll have in the world of materiality. A conscious connection to your Higher Self (God) is all you need. Redefining rich means that you don’t need any of the things the slaves of the world’s system sell their souls for. Real richness has nothing to do with an accumulation of material possessions. Success isn’t based on an abundance of worldly goods. Real prosperity is being content with what you have. A truly rich individual is happy with whatever he or she has NOW, whether it’s nothing, a lot, or a little.

The secret to life is being comfortable in every situation, circumstance, or position Life brings your way. Acceptance of what is is the highest state of consciousness. All the obstacles between you and inner peace will disappear as you surrender to Life. Inner non-resistance to EVERYTHING you encounter in life is walking with God. Saying yes to God is saying yes to life, which is this moment. The narrow way leading to life is surrender to the present moment. Spiritual surrender is the most radical spiritual practice; therefore nothing else is really needed. The holy life is accepting what is.

Acceptance and surrender allow the power of the universe to work on your behalf to change the undesirable life situation. Accept what is as if you’ve chosen it and life will work itself out. Resistance and complaining will keep you stuck in the same situation for eons. Surrender, acceptance, and non-resistance are the three keys to conscious living. As you resign from fighting what is, the power of the universe will deliver you, but there are no guarantees.

Your life is fulfilled when you learn to be happy and comfortable in ALL the situations and positions encountered in life. Searching for worldly success isn’t wrong, it’s just not the measure of a successful life. Successful living comes from your state of consciousness, NOT material goods. The world is lost because they’re looking for worldly objects to make them happy. Believing that you need more than what you have causes suffering. Your beliefs alone cause needless suffering. Happiness arises from inside your heart when it’s not determined by exterior forces.

True happiness comes from pursuing your life’s purpose. Suffering comes from failing to connect with your gift. The depressed are only unhappy because they’ve failed to connect with their God-given happiness. False beliefs about life are the root of all unhappiness. Forget what the world taught you about success in life and redefine rich. Believing that richness is measured through the results of your work and the material possessions you accumulate is a false belief. Rich can be redefined as needing nothing. Stop looking for yourself in the things of this world and live through your invisible indestructible divine essence.

Life is about embracing change and evolution. The universe changes all of us throughout our lives because life involves change and flexibility. The Buddha told his disciples, Freedom and happiness are found in the flexibility and ease with which we move through change. Be at ease with your surroundings by living through an observing consciousness. Whatever you don’t observe you become, so remain completely aware.

No matter what happens in your life, you’re never stuck in a circumstance, trial, or cycle unless you continue speaking about what you don’t want. Each day is a new day to do things right and get things in order. You’re only trapped if you say you are. Always make sure your words are working for you, not against you. What you say reveals what’s to come. We all occasionally go the wrong way in life, but that doesn’t mean we have to speak what is (against ourselves). Observe and accept what is while working to get out of the extremely undesirable life situation. Allow your thoughts, words, and action to work for you, not against you. Don’t speak against yourself.

Accumulate various sources to help you move toward a better space. Reading the right material is a positive action. Guard what you hear, see, read, and say. Learn from countless sources and individuals who inspire you. Some turn to the Bhagavad Gita, the Yoga Sutras, the Christian scriptures, or other books. The real Word of God is whatever truly inspires you. People can receive instruction and inspiration from great spiritual books, the Torah, the Bible, or the Koran. The essence of the books you choose is important, NOT religious doctrines, dogma, and rigid religious belief structures. Beneath the surface, most spiritual books promote the same truths and contain principles of enlightenment. Dig for spiritual principles to follow on a DAILY basis. Through faith (believing before seeing), you can change your life situation no matter what your circumstances are or who you are. Take control of your consciousness by pulling various principles out of great spiritual books; principles such as: total acceptance of what is, being non-harming in your relationship with the world (Ahimsa), needing nothing, and not being moved by external circumstances.

Live life honestly by treating others how you want to be treated and sharing your unique gift with the world. Sri Swami Satchidananda said, All nature loves an honest person. He need not run after things; they will run after him. Being honest with your own inner being causes you to discover ways to get your gift into the world from out of your heart. Following your heart is following the Divine Spirit. When humans follow their inner guidance, the divine purpose of the universe will be fulfilled.

Your unique gift could be a concept, idea, or writing. Every human alive has a unique gift that’s supposed to be shared with the world. Your gift isn’t always a ‘money-making’ skill, but anything that’s an honest expression of what the universe placed in your heart. Pursuing what’s burning in your heart is fulfilling your passion. Don’t be shut down by wrong thinking which talks you out of going after what you want.

Share your gift, even if it doesn’t bring any money in at first. With no deal or contract, you can still unlock the gift in your heart and hand it over to the world. I email the electronic versions of my books for free to anyone who asks and give away free books when possible. The corporate mainstream publishing world rejected me because I don’t sell many books, but I still do my thing independently. No mainstream publisher would give me a book deal, so I put myself in the game. I can’t be stopped! If no one buys my books, I’ll give them away for free to those who show interest. I give away all my E-books for free for marketing and promotion. Without any help from the majors and very little support from the world, I’m still doing my thing!

Giving away your gifts is the quickest route to get what you need. Great givers will always receive because of the good seeds planted. Giving will attract the world’s attention and help solve your day-to-day problems. When you freely give what’s inside you, opportunities will come looking for you. Always look for opportunities to share your gift with the world. Give it away for free if possible. After all the years of giving away free books and E-books, one mainstream publisher reached out and offered me a book deal, but I had to turn it down. It’s either my way or the highway when it comes to my writing.

Four companies reached out to offer publishing deals with no advance after I got the ball rolling by putting myself out. The best of all the companies published ‘The Master Key System’ by Charles F. Haanel. They wanted a mainstream sugar-coated motivational and inspirational book only with no multiple subjects, conspiracy theories, and religious analysis (the blueprint for all my books). Maybe when I’m no longer able to support Jawara King Publishing Group, I may reach out and compromise to write a mainstream motivational/inspirational book.

When you rely on someone else to help you fulfill your dream, constant rejection may trick you into eventually giving up. Instead of becoming frustrated, allow giving to turn your dreams into reality. Giving harnesses the power of attraction. Giving your gift to the world first is how you attract the world through giving. The secret of achievement is to share your gift without expectation for immediate compensation. It’s impossible to give without receiving anything in return. This is the connection between giving and attraction. The yogis say, You never lose what you have given.

The principle of success involves generosity, focus, and hard work. Dedicate countless hours working on your vision while others are wasting time. If you are excited about the combination of hard work and focus, you won’t fail. Pour your passion into whatever makes you joyous or happy. The energy and passion required to overcome the challenges of life is harnessed when you do what makes you happy without making money your primary concern. Chase what brings you joy and you’ll create something you’ll cherish for the rest of your life.

Look beyond money by looking inside yourself for happiness and strength. Quit chasing money and letting it be your main motivation. Whatever you chase will run from you in every situation. Neediness is a turn off. People will mentally write you off if they sense it. Chasing anything is the easiest way to not get it. The quickest way to get what you want is to stop chasing it. Relinquish desperation and attachment. Combine your intentions with the required dedication, hard work, and faith while being detached from the results.

A moment of inspiration will reveal your purpose for that moment. Always notice and pay attention to a spark of inspiration, which is the path to creativity. Only follow pursuits that attract your interest. Focus on the work itself instead of the result of the work. If you have to work a job that you don’t want to be doing on the path to what you really want to do, perform the job without complaint (to the best of your ability). Work your hardest at whatever job you have now, while having faith that you’ll realize your dreams soon. Working your hardest sets the creative forces of the universe into motion. An upbeat attitude is the path to advancement. Martin Luther King said, If it falls your lot to be a street sweeper, sweep streets like Michelangelo painted pictures .… Sweep streets like Shakespeare wrote poetry. Sweep streets so well that all the hosts of Heaven and Earth will have to pause and say, Here lived a great street sweeper who swept his job well. This is the real definition of being successful in life.

Be rooted in service, not exploitation, when it comes to others. You attract what you give out. Focus on your work without expectation or concern for the results. Focusing on the work itself allows you to reach further heights. Most people focus on the money their work generates instead of the work itself, which is why the work isn’t spiritually or financially rewarding. Become completely engaged in whatever you’re doing and stay focused on it. Instead of trying to escape your work, embrace it. Whatever you’re doing, remain totally tuned in.

Focus on the work itself instead of the result of the work. Only focusing on the result is unconsciousness. Allow the labor alone, not the fruits of that labor, make you happy. Being consumed with a material result from your work doesn’t produce joy. If you have to labor for survival and are enjoying what you’re doing, do it from a surrendered state of consciousness. All jobs are worthy of maximum effort. Being conscious is honoring a low-paying or low-profile job and being completely dedicated to proper work ethics. Take every job serious and be dedicated to it. Remain focused instead of viewing your work as a waste of time. Consciousness is performing every job to the best of your ability without complaint.

Attempt to do everything with a smile on your face and your head held high. Freedom comes from taking pride in and being dedicated to every job. Being awake is being totally committed to every task. Your effort moves you closer to God, which is why there is unlimited payment (of some sort) in every job you do. Work your hardest at whatever job you have today. No matter what you’re doing, work your hardest.

HOW TO GO THROUGH

THE STORMS OF LIFE

W hen you’re in trouble, don’t show it. For the time being, fake it until things straighten themselves out. Smile whenever you encounter a difficult pose. Instead of showing outward despair, keep smiling despite what you’re going through. Even a forced smile will give you strength to continue the life process. Things begin to change when you live life with a smile on your face no matter what.

Control your mind and thoughts, then your life situation will improve automatically. Lao-Tsu said, To the mind that is still, the whole universe surrenders. We all have an unlimited supply of tranquility and peace within, but some lose sight of this stillness because of the cares of this world. Undesirable life circumstances can be distractions that steal away attention from the good things unfolding around you. The world is always sending you messages of love and inspiration, but you’ll miss them if you don’t clear your mind. This is the purpose of meditation. Meditation helps you receive messages from Spirit.

It’s unconscious to get worked up about things you can’t control. Most things you can’t control. Meditation helps you keep life in perspective. Problems dissolve from your conscious mind when you sit in silence for a few minutes. Free yourself from the problems or issues that are holding you back by operating out of a calm and focused space. Those who are unhappy are operating out of a nervous and distracted state of consciousness. Operating out of stillness makes life challenges easier as a result of operating with a calm mind.

Meditation helps you look inside to find the inspiration birthed in the spark of stillness. Act on that inspiration even if you haven’t developed a clear plan ‘yet.’ Once you become inspired by a revealed concept, keep dreaming and working until your intention is realized. Meditation will help you quickly find the answer to the next step towards fulfilling your purpose.

Stillness and mental quietness is where good ideas will come from. Meditation fills you with creativity and inspiration. All good ideas reside beyond the thinking mind. Pour all your energies into building your dreams birthed in Spirit. Meditation helps you connect with the ideas and inspirations already inside of you. You can only harness your best ideas and abilities by calming the ‘thinking’ mind down. Do whatever makes you feel like you’re starting to get your ‘over-active’ mind under control. Employ tools to create a sense of stillness and relax you. Everyone’s path to meditation isn’t, nor doesn’t, have to be the same.

Slow down a bit, clear your head, and let the waves of your mind calm down. Use breathing exercises to control the life force. Be aware of union with the Divine. Practice truthfulness, nongreed, universal morality, and nonviolence. Control your senses and refuse to be moved by the situations and circumstances of life. Live a life of daily study, combined with hard work, focus, contentment, dedication, and faith. Be conscious of your union with God. Practice any form of spirituality that calms your mind. Yoga calms the minds of many. The Yoga scriptures say, Yoga means control of the fluctuations of your mind.

You don’t need to turn to religious doctrines to calm your mind. Smiling and breathing alone is all you need. Conscious breathing will take you out of the world of thought. Smiling will keep you in the proper state of consciousness. Try to spend at least 20 minutes a day in meditation. Fight through whatever perceived obstacles appear to make time for meditation. Unwind with at least one session a day. A conscious lifestyle will set aside a minimum of 5 minutes DAILY to meditate or work with the mind. Time should be set aside EVERY DAY to tap into the field of silence within. What you do day after day is the key.

Find any form of meditation that resonates with your inner being. Focusing on your breath alone is enough to guide your mind into stillness. Your mind can even become more still by repeating a word or phrase over and over again. This mantra could be a phrase such as, acceptance, surrender, or one word repeated, peace.

Your form of meditation is actually self-medication. Don’t turn these principles into an individualized religion. Anything turned into a serious ritual producing stress can be counterproductive. Twenty minutes is all that’s needed to make you healthier. Simply sitting still or focusing on your breathing for 5 to 20 minutes a day will clear your mind. Meditation causes situations to improve and problems to eventually go away. Once you re-direct your mind to forget about any ‘perceived’ problem, it will mysteriously dissolve itself.

Various university studies prove that Transcendental Meditation increases creativity and intelligence. TM has been successfully used to reduce high blood pressure, stress, depression, and anxiety. TM instruction is more valuable than traditional religious teachings. Without spending any money, meditation alleviates physical suffering and calms the nervous system. Calm meditation creates a calm nervous system, which builds up the immune system. Through daily meditation, you’ll be less likely to be sick and your body won’t break down.

Many have been healed, from the common cold to cancer, without spending a dime through meditation and the proper use of mind. Smoking, drinking, and drugs produce a fake stillness. Some view meditation and drugs as different sides of the same coin, but only meditation truly clears and unclutters the mind. Meditation clears out all the mental noise and distractions, which helps one realize his or her unlimited potential. A clear and uncluttered mind, through meditation, allows one to reach his/her highest heights. Meditation will keep you focused and positive, and bring you peace and confidence.

People looking for stillness and peace wrongly turn to the destructive nature of drugs. Some run to psychiatrists and take psychiatric medications. The power of meditating overpowers medicating. Sitting in silence for twenty minutes every day is all that’s needed to change yourself and the world. As you change, the world changes because you are a part of the whole. The ancient truth of life is that ‘we are all connected.’

Meditation is bringing total awareness to an action. There are many forms of meditation and they’re all good. There isn’t only one way to meditate. Two 15 minute ‘quiet times’ will change your life. Meditation via quiet time will make you more alert and engaged. Give yourself a chance to be still. Every day, sit in silence and communicate with your higher self. Talking to yourself is actually talking to the God inside of you. A block of time set aside for stillness can be used to pray, read silently, or sit still and not move. Making stillness a part of your every day life is practicing traditional values (which have nothing to do with organized religion).

You can’t control everything that goes on in the world, but you can control everything that goes on in your own mind. Spend at least ten minutes in quiet time every day to stay on the spiritual path. Re-arrange your schedule to allow a regular 20 minute session to be a part of your daily routine. Through the power of meditation, twenty minutes of mental quietude will allow you to experience the sense of peace and calm.

Meditate to find your inner stillness. Learn how to meditate: Find a quiet place where you’ll be undisturbed for 20 minutes. If there’s a lot of noise going on around you that you can’t do anything about, accept it fully. Allow distracting sounds to bring you into the present moment. Embrace what you hear instead of getting thrown off by it. During my daily 20 minute meditation session, I seek complete silence, but it isn’t always possible. Even if I can’t find a quiet space, I don’t allow the noise to stop my daily commitment. Eckhart Tolle wrote, Silence is helpful, but you don’t need it to find stillness. Even where there is noise, you can be aware of the stillness under the noise, of the space under which the noise arises. That is the inner space of pure awareness, of consciousness itself.

There are many ways to find stillness, not just one. There are numerous routes to the same location. Saying one word over and over again as a mantra will change your state of consciousness. Comfortably sit down and begin repeating your mantra. A mantra can be one word, which becomes a vibration when you repeat it. Fixate your mind on any word until its vibration fills up your being. Repeating a word (mantra) for five minutes will help you transcend all the thoughts overcrowding your mind. As the vibration of the word you’re repeating becomes stronger, the fluctuations of frivolous thoughts will become smaller, calming your mind. Controlling your mind with mantras allows you to enter a state of real stillness.

Stillness takes you beyond the physical world. Breathe the thoughts out of your head. Thoughts may drift into your mind during meditation, making it hard for you to stay focused on your mantra. When a thought makes you lose sight of your mantra, engage it briefly, then let it go. Thoughts come less frequently when you acknowledge instead of fight them.

The physical world will attempt to bother you or distract you from succeeding through stillness. Through a disciplined mind, you can still have a deep TM session despite any noise around you. When a session becomes difficult (through noise or distraction), don’t become discouraged and quit. Even when you focus on your one word mantra or breath, troubling thoughts may still break into your mind. Instead of accepting the distracting thoughts and speaking in agreement with them, keep going back to your mind power exercises. Stillness emergies as you keep returning to your mantra or TM exercise. Instead of getting caught up in your thoughts, remain in stillness and don’t give up.

Regardless of what happens in your life, never beat yourself up. Meditation may take awhile before you see results, even though it should be done with no expected end. Mental muscles build as you make a commitment of twenty minutes a day. Employ discipline by making yourself sit for 20 minutes whether you want to or not. Control your body by forcing it not to move. The ‘thinking’ mind tries to win by getting you to stop meditating and give up. The vibration of the mantra you create will eventually still the mind. Meditation is saying to the storm, Peace Be Still.

It doesn’t take a lot of time to begin changing your life. Five minutes of mind power exercises or 20 minutes of any meditation practice is all that’s needed. In reality, no time is needed to be who you are if you’ll accept what is, surrender to Life, and live in the present moment. A Course In Miracles says, It has taken time to misguide you so completely, but it takes no time at all to be who you are. Time is only needed/necessary for the practical purposes of life. All you need to do is make a 20 minute commitment to use time to assist your spiritual journey. The mind will make excuses, but everyone can find 20 minutes for meditation. No matter what your circumstances are, you must rearrange your life obligations to make time (5-20 minutes) to invest in yourself.

Make a lasting commitment to practice spiritual things. Make a consistent commitment to meditation. Remain in control of your thoughts, emotions, words, and actions. Instead of being drawn in by distractions, focus on the path you pursue. You’ll be more effective when you only follow whatever pursuit attracts your interest. No matter what path you choose, transform your life by committing to 5-20 minutes of meditation every day. Practice stillness by sitting in silence for at least 5 minutes.

Spiritual practices like meditation, accepting what is, prayer, yoga, etc. assists your evolution. Make whatever accelerates your journey toward enlightenment a part of your life. Practice ‘moving prayer’ by working your hardest at a specific task. Doing something to the best of your ability is spiritual. Hard work is in line with enlightenment. Maharishi Mahesh Yogi said, See the job. Do the job. Stay out of the misery.

There are many forms of prayer, not just religious or spiritual prayer. Every thought, word, and action is a prayer. You pray through your efforts. Moving prayer is prayer based on your actions. You take some sort of action every day. Everyone works each day, whether they have a job or not. There is a connection between your work and your proximity to God. The divine purpose of the universe unfolds through you. Don’t let how much money will be made or lost control your decisions. Failing to focus on the work itself only cheapens your own experience.

If you need a job but don’t have a job, take the first job you can find. Work your hardest. Don’t complain about how little money you’re making, nor think that a job is beneath you. An upbeat attitude will create a new job or opportunity for you. When things don’t look good based on current circumstances, have faith that you’ll realize your dreams someday. Ignore the sentiments of the human condition which say: I resent my boss. I’m not making enough money. I wish I was doing something else. This job is no damn good; I hate it!

Fake it until you make it. When you look like you’ve made it, you’ll make it. Upbeat energy combined with the look of one who made it will attract new life circumstances and situations. Dreams that seem far away will become within your grasp through your willingness to take surrendered action. Treating every second as holy is a secret of success. Long-term success manifests when every moment consists of love (doing what you love) and hard work. Working in a distracted and disinterested manner does nothing but hold you back. Keep hustling in the proper state of consciousness.

Never let undesirable life situations and low moments get you down. Try to remain upbeat and happy. Don’t allow rejections to make you miserable. Approach everything with a smile that doesn’t distinguish between success and failure. Suffer with a smile on your face. Smile for no reason! Spiritual principles taught in all faiths involve relentlessness, selflessness, dedication, and some form of happiness.

Put energy and compassion into whatever you’re doing, along with enthusiasm and dedication. A willingness to serve others will accelerate your own rise. Be a great servant, remain enthusiastic, and slave for what you believe in. Remain selfless and enthusiastic while doing what needs to be done without hesitation. Doing things the enlightened way makes one unstoppable.

Follow whatever you have a passion for. Have faith that everything else will take care of itself. Show enthusiasm for everything you do. Positivity and enthusiasm water good seeds planted. Look for opportunities to focus all your hard work into making others better. Ultimately, nothing is beneath you or a waste of your time. Have the same intensity and passion at the bottom of the ladder that you would have at the top. If you want to follow in the footsteps of leaders of any field, you must first emulate what they had to do to get to where they are. There’s a price to pay for this life.

Stay focused on your work and work your hardest as you move through life. Don’t allow distractions to compromise your intensity. Don’t worry about what the future holds; all that exists is this moment. Instead of operating in a distracted state, give everything that you have. Pour all your focus on hard work with consistent effort. Don’t worry about what’s happening, nor become sidetracked by circumstances and situations. Refuse to let your focus stray from your task. Intense focus and right thinking is the answer.

Ignore any thought that comes into your mind that doesn’t pertain to your creative process. Try to remain present and awake by living in the present moment. Sometimes life can shock you into the present. If you’re not present, you’re not completely awake. Instead of worrying about the past (memory) or the future (anticipation), be completely tuned in to the present moment. Control your inner state and the outer will work itself out. A Hindu saying says, Keep your heart in God and your hand in the world.

You’re capable of achieving more when you’re focused. Dedicate yourself to what you’re doing by focusing on what’s in front of you today. Stay in the zone of pure clarity and focus. Peace and clarity can be found in whatever job you do through an awareness of the connection between spiritual and worldly practices. Through present moment awareness, you’ll become more conscious and connected with your work. You’ll do better by letting go of the results. Just find joy in the process of creation.

Monetary payment is immaterial. Your payment is in the process, which is why we’ll all be rewarded for our efforts in the end. There is a connection between your higher self and earthly pursuits. Your journey toward enlightenment is enhanced by focus work. The purpose of life is to become conscious and awake. Become more connected with your spiritual side and strive not to get reentangled in the world. Salary, title, and material riches shouldn’t be your primary motivation. The conscious let go of the results. The Bhagavad Gita says, You have control over action alone, never over its fruits. Live not for the fruits of action, nor attach yourself to inaction.

The purpose of life is to follow the path of action revealed within. Karma Yoga means to embrace your duty. Every human being has a life purpose and a reason for being here. Dharma is your purpose on Earth, and only by embracing it will your life be fulfilling. Those who refuse their Dharma will live less rewarding lives. Dharma is your own role in the world.

Working towards realizing your potential is living an enlightened life. Provide service and uplift others through your life’s actions, which will also uplift you. An enlightened existence is committing yourself to something while staying focused on your spiritual evolution. The spiritual and physical must be blended together, which is the allegorical lesson of every religious/spiritual book.

Embrace action that makes the world a better place. Make sure that whatever you’re doing is nonharming and services the world. Follow your inner guidance (the Holy Spirit) by only doing what you believe in. Leave alone what you don’t love. Always follow your convictions. The enlightened ones don’t pursue uninspiring ideas or any path not in agreement with their inner being. Pay attention to alarms and warnings from your inner being and refuse to travel down that path. Listen to your heart and reject anything that you’re uncomfortable with. Follow what you believe to be uplifting and reflects your passion.

Bring your life into a better balance by becoming more connected with your spiritual side and abandoning more worldly pursuits. Most are not awake, nor focused in the moment because of worldly distractions. Detach yourself from the results of your actions; for the results belong to God. Don’t judge your success by the results, for you’re not defined by the results. Believing that you’re defined by the results is an illusion. Instead of living for the fruits of action, simply focus on what you’re doing. A Zen proverb says, When walking, walk. When eating, eat. A Zen monk said that Zen is doing one thing at a time.

THE SPIRITUAL LIFE

L ive every day as a new life, which is being reborn every day. Baal Shem Tov said, The world is new to us every morning - this is God’s gift; and every man should believe he is reborn each day. Each new day is an opportunity to change directions. Move away from an unconscious state and toward enlightenment. Evolution involves switching directions when you’re travelling down the wrong track. Switching directions should be a way of life, or else you’ll be trapped in a pattern of repeating the same cycle of unconsciousness over and over again.

Your actions affect others. Do that which uplifts life. Be conscious of your relationship with the world in general. Your higher self will always show you the way. Living without God is being unconscious of your higher self. Instructions from your higher self can be challenging to follow. You’ll know when you’re headed the wrong way. Always remain willing to change directions.
