Minister Jerrod Smith

Minister Jerrod Smith is happily married, and he and his wife have two daughters.  Jerrod is an ordained minister of the gospel.  Jerrod graduated from the University of Minnesota where he received a B.A. in Mathematics.  He also holds a J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law, and a Masters of Divinity from the School of Theology Virginia Union.  Jerrod was a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity.  He was put out of the organization for hazing, and then was reinstated after a symbolic absence from the rolls.  After he was reinstated officially he continued to haze prospective members.  Jerrod now serves the Lord as the First Assistant to the Bishop, General Counsel, and an Armorbearor at Mt. Gilead Full Gospel International Ministries under the leadership of Bishop Daniel and Co-Pastor Elena Robertson.  Jerrod is also a son in the ministry of Rick and Pastor Rose Jarvis.    Brother Clifton Lucas is happily married and he and his wife have two sons.  Clifton worked in corrections, and while working in the prison system he ministered to individuals that needed personal relationships with the Lord.  Clifton was led to leave the penal system and to work in the private sector.  In the private sector he worked in a group home ministering to individuals and leading them to Christ Jesus.  Clifton has ministered in the area of preaching the gospel through the jail and prison ministry at Mt. Gilead Full Gospel International Ministries.  Clifton ministers in the area of an Armorbearor and security. Clifton graduated from Virginia State University with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.  Clifton was a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated. Clifton’s association with the fraternity changed his personality so much, and caused him to do ungodly things that he was led to renounce his membership.

This is my very first review for a book. The HOLY GHOST led me to a YouTube site. Dealing with this very subject. My daughter pledged. So, yes… I was very concerned. But I had to use wisdom. I sent her an email. It took her to this same YouTube site dealing with this very thing. She got a bit defensive within herself.

We never discussed it. Until she was ready. I let the HOLY GHOST handle it. I got out of HIS way. The SPIRIT of GOD told her to be quite and listen. From there she wanted to research further. She was led to this book.

When this book got delivered to my home. I read it first. This book is not for everyone. Only for those who are seeking true deliverance. Because it is not a joke. It will take you deep!!! real deep. Not that Mandy Pansy deliverance… . we call ourselves going through and then right back in bondage. This book is so detailed… . WOW!!! It is absolutely, the most (POWERFUL) book I have ever… I mean ever read. Outside of the BIBLE!!!

I cried, got delivered… cried, and got delivered some more. I was never in a sorority. Just church. The church principality. WOW!!!

After listening to a sermon dealing with demonic principalities as they pertain to secret societies (thanks mom *smile*), the Holy Spirit prompted me to study and research the history of BGLOs. For several months I compiled information from books, videos, and the Internet. The information I found shocked and saddened me and I was convicted by the Spirit of God to renounce my membership. A lot of this information was corroborated by this book.

There is a history of BGLOs that is unknown to most. The founders did not pull the idea for a fraternity or sorority out of thin air… it was based on a prototype. Fraternities (sometimes called secret societies) date back to ancient Egypt in a time when the worship of false gods/goddesses (idol worship) was the norm. As most of us know, Masonry can be traced to ancient Egyptian civilizations. Understanding this, it stands to reason that all other fraternities and sororities were based on this model. In fact, several of the founders for BGLOs were (or subsequently became) either Masons or Eastern Stars. The rituals of these organizations reek of ungodliness and yet some will find similarities in their organization’s ritual/handbook. One cannot derive something from something else and not retain some likeness to original. I can hear a lot of people saying my sorority/frat was founded on Christian principles and we have scripture in our ceremonies. I was defensive when the Lord showed me these things too. But the reality is that many have been deceived into thinking this very same thing.

I was surprised to learn that each of the BGLOs has a god/goddess associated with it. Those of you who know Christ also know that false gods by biblical definition are nothing more than demonic spirits. Satan seeks to be worshipped just like the one true God and has devised ways to obtain this worship. Sadly, since each BGLO is associated with a god/goddess, each BGLO is also associated with one or more demons. If you are a Christian you should know that we are not dealing with fleshly beings on a daily basis. There is a spiritual war going on at all times and we must be mindful of that. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12). He who hath ears, let him hear…

I have since sent in my formal letter of renunciation. It was not the people that I renounced; but rather the wickedness that exists inside of the organization at the spiritual level. It was so hard to do. God told me to get rid of my paraphernalia and I was so heartbroken that I cried. This allowed me to know that the sorority had become an idol in my life, and as a Christian, I cannot have any other god. Moreover, I had the spiritual bonds to the organization that needed to be dealt with. I had pledged my heart to the sorority and in doing so had not only grieved my jealous God, but had become unequally yoked. You see although the sorority was founded on Christian principles there was no requirement that one actually believe in and worship MY God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; much less be saved and filled with the Holy Ghost. How many souls has a BGLO won for Christ versus how many it has won for itself??

I think that it would benefit everyone to take a closer look into the history of his/her organization and its handbook/rituals, and see if they line up with the Word of God. If one is not yet a member but contemplating membership, pray about it and ask God to reveal the truth to you. I trust that God will show you what you need to know if you earnestly seek Him.

This book is a MUST-READ; it does an excellent job of outlining and exposing the lies and deception that are rampant in BGLOs. I guarantee that if one is honest, he/she will see him/herself in this book. It’s time for the REAL SAINTS OF GOD to stand up IN and FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS. Previously read someone else’s copy of this book. It basically states facts that most of us who have pledged a fraternity/sorority already know. Most of us who are saved and sanctified, that is. There are very dark secrets and rituals that all fraternities practice, and as we get older we should grow wiser. There are no religious fraternities of the four prominent ones, just one that claims to be founded on religious principles, and its rituals are just as dark as the others. Main point to take away: if contemplating—don’t do it, if already a member—denounce membership quickly. Stop worshipping idols and start serving the one and true living God.

Our Commission is to tell God’s people the truth about fraternities and sororities in a loving fashion. In this book, Jerrod Smith and Clifton Lucas bring to light many hidden details of fraternities and sororities. The main purpose of this book is to reveal the fact that the Black Letter Greek Organizations are not of God as they claim to be. If they did not claim to be of God this book would not have been written, but the wolf in lamb’s clothing must be exposed to protect the sheep. The authors being former members that participated in ungodly activities within these organizations expose the physical, mental, sexual and spiritual death-dealing activities found in fraternities and sororities.

FATHER in the name of Jesus we, pray that this book will reach every person that it is assigned to reach. FATHER also we thank you for being patient with us, and giving us another chance to write this book. FATHER we know that a lot of people in the fraternities and sororities are not going to agree with us, but they need to know that this book is not from us, but rather from You Lord. PREFACE

Many of the fraternity and sorority organizations will tell you that they do not pledge any more. However, even when we, the authors of this book, pledged years ago, they made us sign a form stating that the organizations did not allow pledging. Further, it stated that any pledge activity should be reported. Without a doubt we knew that we would have to pledge to enter into the organizations. The whole initiation of the process was based upon a lie. Satan is the father of all lies. Many organizations state that they do not haze and they do not pledge. But, in this book are listed pleading incidents as late as 2011, and fraternity related deaths and injuries as late as February 2011, as well.

Please take time to listen and receive the Way, the Truth and the Life of the True Alpha and Omega.

This book is being sent to your hearts, minds and souls. We also pray that your minds might see more clearly. Then you will know the hope God has chosen you to receive in your hearts. You will know that the things God’s people will receive are rich and glorious to your soul. And you will know His great power of the Holy Spirit. It can’t be compared with anything else. He is at work for us who believe. He is like the mighty strength God showed when He raised Christ from the dead.

In historical accounts we see that the Egyptians, the Greeks and the Romans all had their own form of idols and gods, which were similar or copied from one another, or another source. Therefore, the spiritual influence merely found a new vessel to do its operations.

In the Old Testament, who was the fiercest hard hearted nation that was continuously against God’s people. The Egyptians correct? In the New Testament what culture and nation that was influenced by this culture that was against God and His people. The Greeks and the Romans correct?

Have you ever wondered why the Egyptians, the Greeks and the Romans were models for the Black Greek Letter Organizations? It something is against God, why would you want to be a part of it is the question? If you are in one of these organizations, or if you are thinking about joining, or if you have a loved one in one of these organizations, please know that ungodly ties and deceptions are involved. These ties and deceptions can cause heavy burdens and yokes even if they are not known in the physical realm.

And the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing (Isaiah 10:27).

God wants you to be free from deception, manipulation, and fear. If the Son therefore shall make you free, you shall be free indeed. (John 8:36) Do you truly believe in your heart Christ died for you? Do you believe He wants you to be free? If you do, give Him your heart, and then seek to do what would please Him and not man. We believe that those with hearts of good ground will receive the Word found in this book, and that they will be blessed with understanding hearts. For the condition of the heart truly matters.

We want you to know our hearts. If we see a drowning man, and we refuse to throw him a life line, we are wrong. We want to let you know that we are not judging you. Because we Have stood where you stand now. Please do not get offended. But, we are coming to unmask the spirits that have deceived you. We come in Love and Peace, please receive the Words of this book it that way.

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of knowledge of the glory of GOD in the face of Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 4:6).

We as the authors of this book have been blessed to offer this book to you based upon our experiences and revelations that God has given to us. Let it touch your hearts with the truth.

Biblical Warnings Against Idol

Worship And Practices Found

In Fraternities And Sororities

In the Bible there are many accounts concerning the worship of pagan and false gods. God in His infinite wisdom has given us a manual for life; and that manual is the Holy Bible. Because God loves us He protects us, and gives us directions on how we are to live. These directions are found in the commandments and instructions of the Bible. One of the first commandments is You shall have no other gods before Me. This is a direct command. For this and many of the other directions in the Bible are concerned, we can pick the directions up easily only if we read the Bible.

Conversely, many other things such as the cultural issues surrounding the text of the Bible, we must look at the meanings of the words in their original languages, and cultures in order to fully understand what the text truly is expressing. Some of the pagan worship practices found in the Bible, are a form of culture we must put through the exegetical process in unmasking the underlying issues connected to their pagan practices. In applying an in-depth study by the leading of God to obtain the truth many things can be exposed. We must study to show ourselves approved to God.

It is in our commission, in the thesis, in the resolve, in the intent and in the purpose of this book, to Tell God’s People the Truth About Fraternities and Sororities. This is our mandate. We are not here to deceive you, nor to hurt you, but only to show you some love. This is not an effort to spread hate among brothers and sisters as many Black Greek Letter Organizations do in their actions.

Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ. (Ephesians 4:15 NIV).

In the Bible God under His grace, gives us directions on what we are to do to live Holy. In furtherance of this good cause, He also gives us warnings of what not to do in order to live holy lives, as well. The instruction of being Holy for God is Holy is the basis of this study. In remaining Holy there are things we can do or Commit, and there are things that we cannot do, therefore, we are to Omit those things from our Christian lives. The issues of Commission, and Omission, are detailed questions that are explored in a loving way throughout this book.

We the authors both are Christians, and love the Lord with all our hearts, all our souls, all our minds, and all of our strength. We also love our neighbors as ourselves. This is why we have taken this task to present to you the truth about the Black Greek Letter Organizations. It is in love that we are sharing with you what the Lord shared with us in love, freeing us from the bondage that we were in at one time. We have been made free and we want you to know the freedom you think you have is not freedom at all. Many people just like ourselves were led astray. Look at the following example for clarity.

It is as if you have Dr. Jones who is a great influential medical doctor, and he has been on major international televisions shows to help people. Then Dr. Jones, this noted doctor personally gives you a prescription, and tells you to share it with others. But, once you get the opportunity to call others together to share the prescription with them, you give them something totally different, or you mixed something else together with what Dr. Jones gave you. What service are you providing the people? It is not the same service that you received, because you failed to provide the new people with the same pure uncut prescription? In the drug industry, which is known as fraud and can be prosecuted for the prescription or medication must remain the same. What if the prescription that was given to you was love, have you failed to pass on the pure love you had received from Dr. Jones?

Now let us say that Dr. Jones is like God. It is as if the Lord gave the fraternities and sororities a prescription for love and they received the prescription.

But God commended his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8).

Then they decided to call others into their organizations to give out a prescription, but the prescription that was given to them by God was not used. They used some other prescription, which has a tainting in it, which is nothing like what God gave them. Or they mixed with something else impure to what God gave them, and thus it is not exactly what God prescribed and gave them. God gave us all pure love.

Yes, the prescription that has been tainted is love. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another (1 John 4:11).

We are here to tell you that all of us have been deceived into believing that the Black Greek Letter Organizations, which includes fraternities and sororities systems are those that are not based upon the Word of God, or God’s pure love in its fullness.

But, rather they are disguised pagan foundation practices that are against God, God’s word of the true Bible, and God’s love. The research that has been found truly unmasks the cover-up that is employed in these organizations. What are the things being covered-up? The things that are covered up are the pagan gods, and goddesses that are represented by these organizations. There has been a genuine seduction of people who would have otherwise good intentions, to be a part of these pagan laced organizations.

The Bible said that if it were possible the very elect would be seduced and deceived.

With both authors being Christians and former members of Alpha Phi Alpha and Omega Psi Phi, respectively, our research amazed us as well. The amazement came in regards to what it was we had associated ourselves with in these organizations, without fully knowing the true connected to them. The Lord also said my people perish for a lack of knowledge in His word.

We are here taking a stand. If you fail to stand for something, you will fall for anything.

We have been called to move forward and to stand on what God has given us. Martin Luther King, Jr. said Here I stand; I cannot do otherwise, so help me God.

So we are asking for the Lord’s help to reveal to you in all truth, and in a loving manner the things which are listed in this book. So that you may not only be able to stand, but so that you will rise up and walk, carrying the truth in your heart.

In writing this book the Lord led us in finding and compiling the information. We pray the facts listed will allow you to stand and to make an opened hearted informed decision for yourself. We sincerely hope that your minds will not be closed, and your hearts will not be hardened by the truth that is revealed in the covers of this book.

How can we correct a problem, if we do not recognize it exists? Let your feet be placed upon the truth of the solid rock, Jesus Christ; and not on the deception of pagan practices, which are today’s sinking burning sands.

All of the facts presented have been verified by witnesses of scriptures, history, experiences or mythological writings.

The Truth Be Told

In the research we found that all of the nine Black Greek Letter Organizations are surprisingly connected to the pagan gods and goddesses, which are intertwined with the worship of the sun, moon, stars, hell, and the death-dealing activities. In the Bible the Lord has warned us about many of these gods and goddesses connected to fraternities and sororities.

The main gods and goddesses are as follows:

Sun god in different forms:

Ra is the sun god, and is depicted as a sphinx, used by Alpha Phi Alpha.

Baal of the Bible is the sun god, and is depicted as an elephant with its trunk rose to the sky. Elephants are used by Delta Sigma Theta with trunks to the sky.

Baal’s woman, wife or girlfriend is Grove also known as Asthoreth, found in the Bible. Grove was one of the first things the Lord told Moses to tear down. The Asthoreth or Astharte, or Asthar was also part of the temptation of the wises man ever to live, other than Jesus. Solomon the wises man to ever live who was solely a human being, fell into temptation, in regards to worshiping with his wife the goddess Asthoreth, or Ashtarte, Asthar, or who was better known as the Grove in the Bible. Not only that, but Solomon built a temple unto this goddess as well. Alpha Phi Alpha which is considered the wises fraternity, and who also use Asthoreth’s, or Asthar’ or the Groves’ emblems such as the battle axe, Sphinx, stars and doves as their own symbols, has some explaining to do to Christians.

Horus the god of the setting and rising sun, and which has the blue and white eye of Horus named after him is connected a brother and sister, fraternity and sorority combination as well. Phi Beta Sigma and Zeta Phi Beta have connections to Horus.

Apollo the Greek sun god, for who which the violet plants follow during the daylight time is connected to the Black Greek Letter Organizations as well. Delta Sigma Theta and Omega Psi Phi have connections with their African violet plants and other commonalities.

Ma’at daughter of the sun god Ra, which uses a feather in regards to weighing the persons seeking admittance to the pagan afterlife, or hell is connected also. Sigma Gamma Rho shares similarities with the use of the feather and other items as well. The sun god Ra is also a form of the sphinx which is associated with Alpha Phi Alpha.

Moon gods and goddess in different forms:

Grove the moon goddesses found in the Bible, has as symbols the stars, the sphinx, a battle ax, and the dove. Through syncretism the Grove is also known as Ashtoreth, Ashorethath, Astarte, Asherah and Qetesh. This goddess is also in association with Alpha Phi Alpha, Alpha Kappa Alpha and other BGLO.

Isis the Egyptian moon goddess, which is also known for her magic and healing powers. Some of the members of Delta Sigma Theta use Isis as a symbol.

Diana the moon and hunting goddess of the Romans, who is mentioned in the Bible in regards to her being a great goddess, for which idols are made is connected as well. This moon goddess plays a role in all of the Black Greek Letter Organizations see the next paragraph. (Also See Acts 19:24)

Artemis is the same as Diana, but through syncretism she is the Greek form of Diana the moon goddess. Artemis had thirteen dogs, and turned a victim of Dionysus into amethyst which comes in pink, green and purple. She has women nymphs following her. Pink and green are Alpha Kappa Alpha’s colors. The color purple is also associated with Omega Psi Phi. Artemis also has men who follow her, but are mutilated and she is called the queen bee. The bees of Artemis are black and yellowish gold the colors, and the color of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated are black and gold as well. Artemis is also associated with all of the Divine Nine and the Supreme 13 which include all of the Black Greek Letter Organizations. (See Acts 19:24)

Minerva is the Roman moon goddess, and is the sister to the goddess Diana/Artemis. Minerva was also associated with elephants and Isis. Delta Sigma Theta is associated with elephants, and Isis as well.

Athena is the same as Minerva, but through syncretism she is the Greek form of Minerva. The temple of Athena was in Athens. Also in Athens was Mars Hill and the Areopagus, which is the council found in the Bible that discussed new philosophies and religions. Athens is where the Apostle Paul preached about the Unknown God. Delta Sigma Theta is associated with these goddesses Athena and Minerva in their symbolisms. (See Acts 17:5-32)

Osiris in Egyptian mythology is depicted as the moon, and who was the lover of Isis. Osiris is an underworld leader. Both Osiris, and Anubis the dog headed man, share the same symbol of an animal skin hanging from a stick called a fetish. This god is shares symbolisms with Omega Psi Phi and Delta Sigma Theta.

Son of the moon goddess

Dionysus whose symbols were frogs, ivies and rabbits was the son of the moon goddess Selene and Zeus. This god was called the true alpha and omega, and also shares symbolisms with Alpha Kappa Alpha, and Kappa Alpha Psi.

Thoth was a scribe that wrote on a scroll the sentence of the person attempting to enter the afterlife in the underworld’s hall of Ma’at. Thoth caught the lunar eye in a net, working with the god Shu. Thoth used magic to turn Horus into a sun disk. In Hydrographic, Thoth is depicted as a white-headed crane figured man, or a black Baboon headed figure of a man with a red and white nose. Kappa Alpha Psi and Alpha Phi Alpha shares symbolism with this god Thoth. Alpha Phi Alpha members use apes as symbols. Kappa Alpha Psi uses the colors of red and white.

Bastet is classified as both a sun and a moon goddess, and is associated with the only organization that officially calls themselves brothers and sisters. Both organizations use the rays of the sun, and the crescent moon. These organizations are Phi Beta Sigma and Zeta Phi Beta.

Stars

The stars are used a symbols of pagan worship as well. The stars are part of Sigma Gamma Rho culture.

Spring Equinox

Dionysus was depicted as a god that was twice born, and is associated with the spring equinox, which occurs at Easter or Resurrection Sunday time. He has also been called the alpha and the omega, and the king of kings. Through syncretism he has been know as: Osiris, Orpheus, Tammuz, and Attis the consort of the Phrygian fertility goddess Cybele. The Dionysus cult had temple harlots which carried ivy plants and walked in processions. Dionysus is a feminine acting man. Alpha Kappa Alpha women carry ivy plants and use it as their symbol. Dionysus is also called Bacchus, and both of them are called the gods of wine. Every fraternity and sorority has had their issues with wine and alcohol abuse.

Earth Related Spring and Autumn Equinox Goddess

Minerva is the Roman goddess of the spring equinox as well.

Artemis is the goddess also of the autumn equinox, she is also associated with the myth of the dog star, and is a keeper of dogs.

The equinox happens two times a year, when the tilt of the Earth’s axis is neither positioned away from nor towards the Sun. The points of the centers of the sun and the Earth’s Equator are on the same plane, therefore, you get the term equinox. Black Greek Letter Organizations or BGLO, pledge or have an intake processes of new members during the [autumn/fall] and the spring seasons.

Hell, Death and Death-Dealing Circumstances

Nefertiti is considered the new friend of the dead. Which Alpha Kappa Alpha members use as a symbol.

Artemis is also a friend to the dead, and she helps women in their child birth, she shares symbolism with various BGLO.

Sphinx is the keepers of the tombs of the dead Pharaohs in Egypt, and committed suicide as its form of a female Greek Sphinx, as seen on Alpha Phi Alpha’s crest.

Dogs are keepers of the gates of hell and will not allow anyone to leave hell once they enter. Omega Psi Phi and Sigma Gamma Rho members use dogs as emblems. Omega members are affectionately called dog.

Hadrian the homosexual Roman emperor that had a coin made with poodles on the coin, which depicts hell hounds. The poodle dog is a symbol of Sigma Gamma Rho.

Anibus is a dog headed man in Egyptian mythology who a guardian of the gateway to the underworld or hell. Which some Omega Psi Phi members use as emblems in artwork.

The wreath is used to show death, and the knight’s helmet with the two crossed swords are an emblem of the skull and cross bones of death, both of these are found in use by Omega Psi Phi. The closed helmet of the armor’s mask is for silence. This is done when the things that are being talked about are for the brotherhood’s enlightenment only. The true word of God is for all to hear and receive.

Artemis portrayed as the Many Breasted goddess

Artemis of Ephesus was the most worshiped pagan goddess in private paganism devotions in the Mediterranean world. Her cult idol figure was one that had a stiff elongated body, and her charm or idol’s legs were bound together, like a mummy’s legs are bound. Artemis’ breastplate had protuberance lumps resembling a number of pairs of woman’s breast. Therefore, she was called the many breasted Artemis.

Artemis believed the oak tree was sacred, (oak is what is used to make fraternity and sorority paddles by the way), and she wore acorns around her neck. In addition, to this type of attire she also wore a zodiac sign breast plate. Artemis’ skirt had animals on the base of it symbolizing fertility. Then along the sides of the skirt were honey bees with wings and crowns depicting them as priestesses. The male priest in her cult were castrated and called drones, which are male worker bees that have no stingers, and gather no honey.

The Roman homosexual Emperor Hadrian built Artemis a temple in the ancient world. The grand temple of Artemis became one of the wonders of its time. They had thousands of people working in the sanctuary of Artemis’ temple and they were entrusted with very a great deal money. Through the temple of Artemis the city of Ephesus grew, as well as banking in that area. There was a love for money in this environment, which is the root of all evil. Acts Chapter 19:23-41 shows us Artemis (also called Diana). Artemis’ followers had many confrontations with true Christians, the people of Jesus Christ, but in the end the followers of Jesus Christ prevailed. All Black Greek Letter Organizations Are Connected In Similar Pagan Symbols.

All these things of false gods, their symbols, and wicked practices come from ungodly imaginations. Wicked imaginations are not in Jesus Christ; the mind of Christ does not think of these types of things. Please, let the mind that was in Christ Jesus also be in you. Not only are we not to think of evil thoughts, but Christians are not to put any evil before their eyes either.

I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; [it] shall not cleave to me (Psalm 101:3).

We will show you that the listed items are all a part of the Black Greek Letter Organizations today, and have been passed off as good ideas to receive, which is deceiving for the true believer in Jesus Christ. The deception is cloaked by good deed works in the name of their fraternities and sororities. However, the good deed works are masking an undertone of pagan practices and ungodly behaviors. Be not deceived. God is not mocked (Galatians 6:7). Try the spirit by the Spirit of God (1 John 4:1).

We will start our review with the first Book of the Bible, which is the Bible Genesis and then move to Revelations as well.

The Genesis of the Problem

In the book of Genesis we see God calling Abram who later became

Abraham. When the Lord called Abram, God told Abram to do something that would seem to be hard and difficult, yet Abram did it willing and in faith.

Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house unto a land that I will show you: and I will bless you, and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless you, and curse him that curses you: and in you shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

Abraham came from Haran and Ur. Ur was a very sacred city in regards to the pagan religious practices of the moon god or goddess. As we have discussed in this book the moon gods have been called various things such as Ashtoreth, Astarte, the grove, Asherah/Astare, Ester, Ishtar, Isis, Artemis, Minerva, Venus and Diana. For further references if you look up the word grove listed as 842 in the Hebrew section of the KJV Concordance you will be able to confirm the meaning and connections of the syncretism of some of the names of the grove.

This goddess grove is also related to religious prostitution in the form of the word Qedeshah, being translated from Hebrew meaning a female temple prostitute. In the Egyptian pagan god religious practices the goddess that is associated with the temple prostitution is Qetesh, which shares symbolism with Alpha Kappa Alpha. Additionally, the Egyptian goddess Isis is also seen as a moon goddess, and Delta Sigma Theta members use her image. The goddess Artemis is also associated with these two sororities, which have unofficial brothers in Alpha Phi Alpha for Alpha Kappa Alpha, and Omega Psi Phi for Delta Sigma Theta.

We see that Alpha Phi Alpha has the sphinx, stars, and a war weapon in the form of a battle axe, and doves which are all symbols or seemingly domain emblems of Astarte/Ashtaroth a goddess found in the Bible. The use of the word domain here is being used as an identifier of an entity or deity that follows them through cultures and time. For example, Christ Jesus’ domains would be a lamb, a lion, a cross and a fish. None of the BGLO uses any of these as their symbols however.

Saul’s armor was fastened to the temple of Ashtaroth in 1 Samuel 31:10.

The Children of Israel repeatedly had issues with trying to mix serving God and Asharoth at the same time. (See Judges 2:13-14; 10:6-7) We see that this act has repeated itself in our present time in the form of the BGLO fraternities and sororities. Asharoth’s appeal was that she was a female goddess, in a male dominated god arena.

In some Canaanite Phoenician sources she is called the lady of heaven and the morning and evening star. The morning star was the name of an entity that is now considered the god of the present world’s system and spirit. In the Bible the name of Lucifer is translated the morning star.

The Lord would eventually give Abraham the land of the Canaanite people the same people that served this Canaanite goddess, the Grove or Astharoth. When the Lord was blessing the people of Israel to get ready to go into the Promise Land, the Lord told the people not to serve other gods such as the Grove or Ashtaroth or Asherah. Ashtaroth or Asherah in her form as the grove, required the Lord to repeatedly tell the people of Israel to cut down her altars, or to burn her Groves. Further, in honor of God, the Lord told them to take away the groves from the high places.(See Exodus 34:13; Deuteronomy 7:5; Deuteronomy 12:3; Judges 6:25-30; 2 Kings 17:10; 18:4; 23:14; and 2 Chronicles 14:3; 17:6; 19:3; and 31:1)

Please note the spelling of Astaroth or Asherah and so on, has changed due to the culture that it was adopted into. The name was used by various cultures and dependent upon the affect of the syncretism it went through the spellings differed. Just like Jesus is the Greek form of translated Hebrew

Great job and to the point . Plenty of interesting reference material along with the bible.
This book serves as a Warning to those who may want to join a BGLO. What makes the book authentic is the fact that both of the authors are former fraternity members . They candidly share some of the evil cosequences resulting from their pledging a fraternity. I am referring this book to others for sure.
