About this ebook

Two persons and one Ghost are involved in the writing of this book. One person was a teenager of 19 years named Raven who was a writer of poetry and homeless, downcast, and living on the streets of Louisiana. The second person was a woman of much greater years named Sunday who saw great potential in the Raven and wanted to help him. Then, there was the third person in this trinity who was a Ghost of ancient age who drew both of these persons together to accomplish this work of poetry.

Demons, strait jackets and voices in his head had him on the run. He masked his incredible growing pains and his unparalleled love for a girl in his poetry. Vulgarities run amuck in a bit of the poetry, but the woman named Sunday chose to let them remain. Raven's rendition of his pain is told in one of the poems titled ... ... ... THE MASK:

Condemned to violence, Arrested by pain
Inside this soul lies a man insane.
Conceived to anger addicted to hate
A mutant child with a twisted fate.
A killer's smile with a psycho star dream
Behind the mask things aren't what they seem.
Unholy soldier - Disciple of sin
That's the kind of life I'm living in.

This is a book that you can not put down. You have to read the whole input of this teenager. It is that intriguing, and that entertaining. By the time you finish reading this book, hopefully, you will find yourself in love with this teenage young man but more importantly that you find and fall in love with his 'friendly' Ghost.

"Who provideth for the Raven his prey (food)?

When his young ones cry unto GOD,

…they wander for lack of meat."

JOB 38:41 BIBLE: King James Version

(The raven in this story wanders wanting land, or a place to call a peaceful home. He is alone and helpless until he cries out to God for someone to provide him with the deep spiritual food (prey/meat) and nourishment he is lacking.)

    Dedications

To God, for without Him NOTHING is possible.

To Ms. Patricia Sunday and Sunday Ministries for helping me

get the ball rolling on this book and standing beside me through all the aggravation that this book has caused.

To Stephanie Gravitt the girl who changed my life by touching me with her love.

To Mrs. Geri Allen and Tracie Allen who were my family when my family had bailed, and who have shown me love and a different aspect to the Word and who gave me courage to go forth with this book.

To Matthew Tyson Thompson who in his uncanny way showed me love does exist in a few good hearts. Thanks Tyson for showing my heart to Stephanie, and being my brother when no one else cared.

Also dedicated to: Wolf, Animal, Beavis, Pony Boy, Bulldog Garr and Mikey Traver.

    Poetry Author’s Notes

    Dear Reader:

First off I would like to apologize for the vulgarity and content in a few places of this book. Let not my words make you look down upon Sunday Ministries or me. But for the frequent times I couldn’t control my pen…you can be most assured I was under a lot of stress. God knows.

I have had some people come up and ask, Hey Raven, How did you get so good at poetry? Well the truth is, as I was growing up my dad was always on the road, and mom was always too busy. I really had no one to listen to my problems. So I started writing my problems on paper, but I threw them away for I thought no one cared.

Soon I started writing in the form of
