    Lily is a strong, independent woman that's worked hard to get where she is. She's not going to let anyone dictate her career, not even the husband she adores. He wants her to quit and be a stay at home wife, at his beck and call, go with him on business trips and generally be at his side 24/7. There is nothing she would like more than to be at her husbands beck and call but it's a matter of pride for her to keep her job, a job she now hates. She hates that it feels like they never see each other, that they have to practically pencil sex into their calendars because their schedules are so full they don't have time for each other anymore. It's not like they need the money, Jack has made more money than even their children's, children could spend. Always coming home late was another bone of contention between them, Jack is always harping on her lack of concern over safety. Walking to her car alone in the deserted parking garage, not taking the time to get the security guard to walk her. She argues its a closed parking garage, it's not like parking on the street where anyone can get to her. Now she wish's she had listened to Jack, listened as he preached about safety as she lay's tied up in the trunk of a car, hoping to God she lives' through the nightmare of being taken.

    I wanted her, so I took her. I watch as night after night she carelessly disregards her safety, walking through a dark, deserted parking garage alone. A woman this beautiful has to have someone at home waiting for her, someone that knows she is not being cautious, not taking the security measures as serious as she should. I'm going to show her the error of her ways, show her what can happen to little girls who don't listen, show her exactly what kind of monsters can lurk in the shadows.

    I can can usually be found plunking away at the computer or arguing with one of my characters, (which means talking to myself), in my batcave. I can remember hiding under the covers with a light reading because I had to finish that last chapter before I went to sleep. My grandmother fostered my love of reading, encouraged me to read whatever I could get my hands on. I love insta-love, happy ever afters, alpha men and sassy women. I still love all the above mentioned ladies but now have new authors to add to my 'have to read' list. When I'm not writing I can be found playing with my beautiful granddaughters and my handsome grandson, reading anything I can get my hands on, and daydreaming about traveling the world.
