In “A Grim Ride” Adam is ready to start his life anew. After flunking college, he is disowned by his snobbish parents. He also becomes an alcoholic. He hitches a ride with a kind trucker who has a dark past that puts him in grave danger.

In “Swindle Me Not, My Dearest” James and Marlene spend the evening at Hotel de Noir. James thinks it will be a night of fiery romance, but Marlene has a big surprise for her manipulative lover. James has no idea that Marlene has a scheme of her own.

A.S. Patterson, a screenwriter is currently enrolled is currently enrolled in the Creative Writing program at Full Sail University. In March 2018, her short stories, “Desperate Measures” and “A Grim Ride” were published by two online magazines. The film “Candyman” scared her into becoming a screenwriter. It was filmed in her hometown of New Orleans and, at the time, there was no way her family could convince her it wasn't real. Today, she is fascinated by the horror genre. Collaborating with other creative people is a passion of hers. She resides in Mansura, Louisiana.
