- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Weird & wonderful! I loved it! Can't wait to keep reading this series to find out what happens next
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5This was a cute one and finally on tge revelation as to what was happening.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Fura egy kavalkád ez a képregény sorozat, de vicces, és nagyon élvezem. :D
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I really enjoyed this one. Im getting more invested in these characters and i think Ripley or Mal is my fave so far. Will definitely keep going with these.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This has so many great messages! It's full of strong women who have various skills and work well together. And the messages of friendship and loyalty are beautiful. PS that cheek kiss had me squealing.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I definitely enjoyed this volume more than the first! Things were more established, obviously, and we started getting some answers to just what on earth was going on, and there were some exciting new reveals, too.
The thing that really won me over was the inclusion of Greek mythology. I won’t say too much about it, as it’s a little bit of a spoiler, but I will say that I didn’t expect it at all but ended up loving it! It does kind of come out of nowhere, and the whole volume is a little all over the place, but it was a pleasant surprise.
And that being said… It did feel like every individual issue collected in this volume was its own thing. You jump from a camp of capture the flag to a mysterious adventure with no stopping, but honestly I feel like it fits the vibe of the Lumberjanes. They’re a little chaotic, but it’s all good fun.
But it was the characters in this that really solidified my enjoyment. I liked the girls in the first volume, but now that I ‘know’ them, I just loved seeing how they interact. There was a big focus on April and Jo’s relationship, which I liked after seeing how Molly and Mal were focused on in volume one. Jen’s character is also expanded on and I really like her growth. There are new characters, too, but it’s the main five gals who really make this.
Again, another solid volume. I’m still curious as to how this series will develop, so onwards to volume three! - Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Fun, but also a little over the top. I love the art work.
