Diary Of A Wimpy Noob - Nooby Lee
Entry# 1 - A Rookie Mistake
Not all days are created equal. Some days, you wake up just knowing that things are going to be great! You feel good, heck, you even look good! The world is your oyster and you're all set to conquer it.
Today was not one of those days.
I mean, things started off normal enough. As normal as a day in the world of Roblox can be I suppose. I'll just go ahead and confess right now that I'm a bit of a newbie here. Alright, a TOTAL newbie! Or a NOOB if you want to call me that! It's fine, really. We all have to start somewhere right? I moved into a lovely little town called Meep City just a few days ago. Things had been progressing nicely. I made some new friends, I got a job as a shopkeeper, I was slowly decorating my house with the money I earned. It was fantastic.
Until today.
Since I usually have Saturdays off I went exploring around town. I headed down to a place called The Hub. The Hub is sort of like a train station except that instead of trains to locations it offers links to different servers! Now, being a noob I'm a little hazy on how all this works, but I was feeling adventurous and thought I might try and see some more of the Roblox world! I had selected a peaceful park to visit and was preparing to enter into the server portal when things began to go wrong.
An odd fellow with a hat that featured a yellow duck adorning the top bumped into me and sent me spinning the wrong direction. Moments later a large flock of people came rushing towards me and inadvertently herded me towards a different server! I tried to protest but my cries were drowned out by their own jokes and laughter. In another second we had entered the portal and in a flash, I was in a completely different world!
I was standing in the center of what appeared to be a back room in some seedy nightclub. The lights were dim and sparse casting long shadows across everything. The air was heavy with cigar smoke. I wasn't alone either. There was perhaps 15 to 20 other people in the room. Not the type I typically encountered in Meep City. They seemed more intimidating somehow. Perhaps it was the way they were all holding some sort of weapon.
Weapon!?
"Okay, Noob just
