    Driving out to the desert was really a fun thing. Gavin and Chuck were in the back seat of the SUV. His Mom and he’s little cousin Liam were in the next row, and Aunt Kim was up front and Uncle John was driving.

    The day had started late for them, so there was a tent big enough for all, they planned to stay over night, sleeping bags included.

    His mom and Aunt Kim packed a great big cooler, full of great stuff and water for all. After all it was the desert they were going to.

    When they finally found a spot they all liked; it was time to unpack the SUV. Everyone pitched in. The boy’s set up the tent, you see the Sun was high and for little Liam he needed to be in the shade.

    After that the boys went rock hunting, they only took the ones they could carry, bringing them back to where they were camped, the boys set them. Down in a circle, just like at camp. Chuck was excited and had to brag a little, he carried the biggest rock, and he said It was for Uncle John.
