About this ebook

This book is about the miracle power of God and how we can all tap into that miraculous power through simple obedience. I believe that we can all have as many miracles as we want if we would be willing to pay the price. We need to learn what opens the windows of heaven then do it. I have been experiencing the miraculous for over thirty years and would like to share what I believe anyone can do to make miracles happen.

From Miracle to Miracle - Rev. Timothy J. King

    ONE

    God’s Divine Order

Let me begin by saying that God is a God of divine order. That means that He has a perfect plan, a perfect reason, a perfect time, and a perfect season for all His creation. There is a right time for everything. (TLB Ecclesiastes 3:1)

I believe that today is a right time for you, as well. It is the right time to start living in the fullness of God. I also believe that we are living in the last days. The Bible says that, in the last days, God will pour out His Spirit upon all flesh:

And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams. (NKJV Acts 2:17)

You have the power to receive the miraculous from God right now, if you will only believe it and ask for it in faith (KJV Matthew 7:7-11). There are some who deny the power of God (2 Timothy 3:5), but that doesn’t make it any less obtainable to those of us who don’t. Look at what Jesus Christ said:

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? (KJV Matthew 7:7-11)

I cannot help the fact that there are a lot of people who deny the power of God, but this book is all about God’s power. God’s power is real and it’s still available to those who want it. Christ said that all we have to do is ask:

Ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. (KJV John 16:24)

God has a powerful plan for every life! No one is too young or too old. It doesn’t matter what race you are or what social class you belong to. Neither does it matter to God if you are rich or poor or well-educated or uneducated; God loves you and has created you just as you are, for a special purpose.

Have you ever felt like you were different from everyone else? That’s because you are. You were uniquely created! God didn’t want you to be like anyone else. Don’t waste another second of time wishing that you were more like someone else. God knew exactly what He was doing by creating you just as you are.

God has never made that first mistake, and I can assure you that you are no mistake either! God has a wonderful plan for every life, with no exceptions. All we need to do is tap into His word and listen to His voice. His Holy Spirit is still speaking loud and clear to all who will listen. Let God speak a word to you right now:

"For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are Plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." (TLB Jeremiah 29:11)

I hope you received that word from the Lord, because the Holy Spirit has much more that He wants to share with you. The key is to believe in God with all your heart and accept the Bible as His personal word to you. If you will obey His word to the best of your ability, God will cause miraculous changes in your life. He will allow you to enter into a realm of miracles, blessings and rewards, which will otherwise pass you by. All it takes is a little faith:

But without faith, it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (KJV Hebrews 11:6)

God rewards all who seek Him! The choice is yours and salvation is the key. You can unlock the power of God in your life right now. It’s as simple as one, two, three. I challenge you to do the following three things:

    1) Ask God into your life. 2) Ask God to forgive of all your sins. 3) Then ask God to guide you through the rest of your journey here on Earth. That’s all there is to it! Don’t do it just to see if it works or not. Do it because you’re hungry for the things of God. Do it because you want to see the miraculous hand of God working on your behalf. Turn to the last page of this book whenever you’re ready and start your journey on the road to the miraculous.

Please don’t misunderstand me. Serving God is not a quick fix; it’s a life change. Christianity is not a religion that is tried and failed; it’s a lifestyle that is loved and lived! It is a lifestyle that is governed by God Himself. God desires to personally guide His children by His Spirit of wisdom and revelation.

Christianity is choosing His way over your way. It’s better than making good decisions; Christianity is making God decisions. It is a life that is spiritually enlightened and directed. Christianity is to know who God is, who you are, and why you are here.

When you start walking in obedience to God, then that is when you start walking in His power! Obedience is what opens the door to the miraculous power of God! When you start making godly choices, you start experiencing godly results.

When I read Paul’s prayer to the Ephesians, I made the choice to receive it for myself. Please read his prayer carefully, then receive it for yourself as well:

Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. (Ephesians 1:15-23)

When you ask God into your life, you will experience the fullness of God for yourself. Sincerity is the key to tapping into the power of God. God’s Power will be released through your prayer in direct proportion to the sincerity in which you pray! After I took that challenge, thirty-three years ago, I have witnessed many miracles. Here’s my story.

    TWO

    The Past

It’s not my intention to bore you with my sinful past, but I feel that a little background must be shared to bring God the greatest glory for the impossible transformation that has been occurring in my life over the past thirty-three years.

Whenever anyone is saved, they don’t fully understand what a miraculous event has taken place. After you ask God into your life, you are no longer the same person:

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (KJV 2 Corinthians 5:17)

There is a transformation that occurs after you give your life to God. The biggest, perhaps, is that you are no longer alienated from God, but you have become holy, unblameable, and unreproveable in his sight (Colossians 1:21-23). Your mind starts being renewed. That’s why it’s extremely important to get plugged into a Bible-teaching church where you can receive proper instruction during your transformation:

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. (NKJV Romans

    12:1-2)

Looking back from that glorious night when I was saved, my only regret is that it took me some time to understand the importance of church attendance. I only started because of a dare from my mother-in-law. Soon after I started learning the word of God, and after applying only a few of its spiritual principles, I started witnessing a series of miraculous events that has prompted me to write my story.

I was only 24 years old when I gave my heart to the Lord. It only took a few months of church attendance to realize that I had wasted a big portion of my life on riotous living. I have been trying to make up for those wasted years ever since. I don’t understand why some people seem to be born Christian, and others, like myself, take a bit longer, but I have learned that God’s timing is always perfect.

I had gotten into drugs and alcohol at an early age. Before I knew it, I was a pretty messed up individual. Even though I was traveling the wrong road, God still had His hand on me. You may be traveling the wrong road, as well. Even if you are, let me assure you that God is with you, waiting to bless you. It doesn’t matter what you’re doing or what you have done. It’s not how you start a race that’s important, but how you finish it.

God loves, forgives, and restores. That’s what makes God God! He can take the worst case scenario, turn it completely around, and make something absolutely beautiful out of it!

God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (KJV Romans 5:8)

Let me just say, for now, that if I had not experienced the drugs, alcohol, depression and complete depravity, I would not be as convinced that, if God can use a person like me, then He can surely use you! I honestly believe that regardless of how messed up you might be, God has a plan for your life and your time has come for total deliverance. If you have any doubt at all, just begin by trusting God. Ask God to forgive you and guide you, and He will.

It’s pertinent to understand that you must hold the course. If you will pursue your walk with Christ, then you will see the miraculous.

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. (KJV John 15:7)

The key word in this text is abide. Abide means to continue to hold the course, or to hold fast. If you will hold steady to the course that God has outlined for your life, then you will experience God like you have never imagined.

There is only one thing you can ever do wrong in your Christian walk, and that is to quit. Just because you are serious about serving God, that doesn’t mean that you won’t make a few mistakes along the way. We all make mistakes:

For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not. (Ecclesiastes 7:20)

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. (KJV Rom 3:23)

Satan will start coming against you more than ever, after you’ve given your life to Christ, because you are now a threat to his kingdom. He wants to discourage you in any way he can. His ultimate goal is to kill, steal, and to destroy, as we will see later. He will lie to you continually and tell you that you’re no different now than before you were saved. When talking about the devil, Jesus said:

There is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. (KJV John 8:44)

We are saved by the grace of God. We are not saved through any goodness of our own! Again, you must believe the word of God. The word says:

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. (KJV Ephesians 2:8-9)

We all mess up and sin at times. The Bible says:

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (KJV 1 John 1:9)

Just because we slip and fall in the mud, that doesn’t make us pigs! You stand up, brush yourself off, and get back in the program! It’s time to stop living below your potential. God’s perfect timing is for you right now. You are a child of the Almighty God. Once you realize who you are and start acting like it, you will overcome the world. The Bible says:

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God. ( KJV 1 John 5:4-5)-

So the question is: do you believe that Jesus is the son of God? I do.

    THREE

    From Childhood to Manhood

I was raised Catholic by a Catholic mother and an atheist father. My mother was a wonderful person who believed in the Catholic Church. My father did not believe in God, but relied primarily on his alcohol. This sharp contrast in belief systems led to events that have made me who I am today. Mom, on one hand, relied entirely upon God. Dad, on the other, did not believe in God, but relied completely on his own works. I learned later that, spiritually speaking, each is completely useless without the other.

But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?
