About this ebook
Middle school student Maxmillion has just written an award-winning story about a boy and his family who live on Dextra, a strange planet where the color of the sun changes as often as the seasons. After Max reads his tale in front of his science class, he receives a standing ovation from all but one girl. Louise has no idea what everyone sees in the story.
Thirteen-year-old Louise is a normal seventh grader who thinks the world revolves around her. As the only child of devout Christian parents, she has grown into an ornery, spoiled girl who seeks revenge on teachers who give her bad grades, hates attending church, thinks her parents are old-fashioned, and only wants to be with her friends in the town square. But when she has a horrifying nightmare one night that her entire family suddenly disappears, Louise is confronted with the unexplainable and must rely on biblical scripture and prayer to lead her to the answers.
In this inspirational tale, the message in a young boys story begins a conflicted teenagers journey as she learns to embrace Christian principles and amend her ways.

1.jpgStudents, we will now hear the winner of the story about incurable diseases. The award was given by the Department of Health to our beloved Maxmillion. He attended the competition with students from all schools of the state, and he won, giving more prestige to our city,
said Lady Catherine, the biology teacher.
The student everyone affectionately called Little Max was wearing his big, focused glasses and proudly stood to the side of his teacher as he started to read the story.

"There was a boy who had shining eyes and a beautiful smile. He ran, shouted, and played. When he was younger, he used to be a happy kid with lots of friends around. He was considered the cleverest, most curious, and smartest in the group. At that time, he had gone to live with his parents on a planet that was special—magical as well. There was a planet where his family used to live because Dextra was localized between Beta Star galaxy and the Small Celta, where everyone had to go. No one knew the Small Celta yet, but their expectations about that were high. They believed it would have all the things that Beta Star did not.
