    Intro

    Applying for residency during the last year of medical school was one of the hardest times in my life. Not only did I have to juggle rotations, USMLE Step 2, but I also had to determine what I wanted to do when I grew up! I spent a great deal of time searching online, emailing friends, calling acquaintances for a little advice here and there along this rocky road. Eventually, I saw the light at the end of the year-long tunnel, but realized that there really wasn’t a simple cohesive source out there to help a medical student not only choose the right path in residency, but also how to achieve every step of the way.

    I decided to put my months of research and work into a book that will assist medical students who seek residency at an American hospital. The
