About this ebook

While reading this book, you will come across the word individual an awful lot. The clear objective of this book is to inspire people to look at themselves as individuals as it pertains to making the world a stronger, and prosperous place for future generations. I emphasize the importance of individual responsibility, hard work, self-determination, and personal integrity. In this book, I thoroughly advocate the significance in young adults to receive a world-class education. I emphasize the need for individuals to exemplify the Judeo-Christian principles upon which the United States was founded; free enterprise, individual liberty, and personal responsibility. As we continue to wake up every morning in a broken society, we should not continue to ignore the perils of it. In this book, you will learn the tools in making our society better, you will learn of the importance in receiving an education, and you will obtain a set of core values and principles in which to live by. Also, I would like for you to take what you have learned from this book and pass it onto the others, pressing the significance in advancing a prosperous world.

    Preface

Every night as I fall asleep, I thank God sincerely for making me who I am. I continue to ask him to bestow upon me what I need to grow and prosper. I do this because there is nothing more significant in my life than the luxury of being successful. I strongly hold to be self-evident the Judeo-Christian principles of hard work, self-determination, individual responsibility, persistence, and strong character. Most importantly, I believe profoundly in the importance of applying our values, effort, and attitude to receive an education, the pathway to opportunity. As a motivational speaker and author, I take deep pride in my effort and ability to educate and inspire individuals to apply themselves and build for their future because there should be nothing more important than that. I believe that each and every teenager in the United States of America has the opportunity to lead successful, productive lives other than strong emphasis on other things such as relationships, sex, and parties, all of which can lead to long-term failure. This is why I have taken the initiative to help make other young adults realize their talents and skills, and this is exactly my objective in writing this book.

In this book, I outline four sections in the importance of hard work, strong individualism, and applied skills and knowledge, all in the name of opportunity, success, and prosperity. Also, I emphasize the significance of traditional values, self-empowerment, and Judeo-Christian principles among all individuals and, particularly, among young adults. In one chapter, I advocate a return in the African-American community to these values. Primarily, this entire book analyzes thoroughly the need for individuals in society to take responsibility for their lives, apply their knowledge and skills to make a better life for themselves, and to pass a prosperous world onto future generations. If we glance at history, we find that many societies collapsed due to lack of education, hard work, and values, such as the Roman Empire. When our nation was founded, it was formed upon the unalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. These ideals have made us the most freest, most prosperous, and strongest societies that ever originated. As we learn the history behind our great society, it shall tell us that earlier generations pursued a work ethic that led to the most prosperous economy in the world, the highest percentage of college graduates in the world, and the most respected nation in the world. These credits have significantly began to stagnate. Every time we look on the back or bottom of a product we buy at the store, it says Made in China, or Made in Japan, which means that our economy is faltering because our labor force is declining due to lack of education among individuals in America.

The vision set forth by our founding fathers was one where the people of our great society tried every single day of their lives to the best they could in making our world better. I have news for you, this unique vision has critically began to fade away. If someone does not take a stand not tomorrow, but today, the society in which we live will be no more than a long article of wonderful stories in the funny papers. I will not let that happen. The objective of this book is to inspire a renewed sense of dignity, pride, and strength among our generation of individuals to reclaim the virtue in hard work and personal responsibility, obtain the best education possible, achieve their heart-set aspirations, and build a new world for our children in future years. So I ask you to not only enjoy reading this book, but let it educate you in the importance of leading a new beginning for our society and preserving that society for as long as God shall bless our wonderful Earth in existence.

    Acknowledgements

In most of our lives, we take deep gratitude in being proud of who we are.

However, it is a solemn responsibility of each of us to give credit to those who have extended a hand to us. If it was not for this helping hand, we would not be who we are and where we are today. As much as I love myself, I love all of those of whom helped me master the obstacles that have stood in my path. As it pertains to writing this book, I developed most of the ideas that I emphasize. I will acknowledge all of those who taught me most of what I know, stood close to me in times of need, and most importantly, continue to support me in every way possible.

First and foremost I would like to thoroughly and most sincerely acknowledge my life and savior, Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ has ALWAYS stood by my side for as long as I have known. Jesus Christ is the one who has bestowed upon me the strength to endure the work on obtaining an education, excel as a passionate orator and public speaker, and persist through the ordinary, everyday struggles of life. Christ is the one who has given me the knowledge and skills to write my first book as well as my second book. He knows directly the challenges I and others face in our lives. There has been so many times in which I have cried my eyes out to Jesus Christ, thanking Him for making me the person I am and the person I will become ten, fifteen, twenty, and thirty years from now. As I progress in life, I know deeply in my heart, mind, and soul that He will continue to bless me in many ways possible. I thank You and love You, my Lord God Jesus Christ.

Second, I would like to acknowledge my family who has always shown me love and support along every step of the way. They taught me most of what I know and the values that lead to success and peace, such as responsibility, hard work, and a great education. They are also very proud of me as it pertains to writing books and excelling as a public speaker. I particularly would like to thank my mom for being there always and showing towards me love and strong motherly devotion. The two of us have had plenty of deep conversations about essential life elements, and many of those accredited to my knowledge in writing this book. Also, I enjoyed the many times we have walked to the store together, driven on the L Train in Chicago together, and all the times she remained involved in many my school activities. She is the greatest mom a person could ever ask for due to the fact she has always been willing to go the extra nine yards as it pertained to my success. I love you, mom. I would also like to acknowledge my father who has been like a shield of love, hope, protection, and support for all of my life. He and I also have had plenty of conversations about essential elements of life, many of which accredited to my knowledge in writing this book. He was the one who gave me the idea to write this book about the importance in obtaining an education. I remember him telling me to pull the heart out in writing that book about education. I love him deeply and I appreciate everything he has done for me. I love you, dad. I would also like to acknowledge my four older brothers who has always stood close to me for as long as I been born. I love my family with all of my heart.

Third, I would like to acknowledge my former pastor and
