Acknowledgments
I am thankful for many people who have influenced my life and have helped make my dreams become real.
Thank you to my friends, Toni and Dana-co-workers, team players, encouragers and friends who seem to pick up the pieces and cover details so very well; and to Kinney, who has prayed for me and this project and who shares her vision with me with such enthusiasm.
Thank you to my project co-workers: Sali, for her patience and excitement about this project and her keen ability to edit away my rambling thoughts; and Karla, for her graphic designing along with her can do
attitude.
Thank you to my parents, Anthony and Delores, my first and best examples of organizational travel.
Thank you to my family, my vacation progeny--who have reaped the benefits of my planning as well as experienced the reality of vacation nightmares (now the greatest dinner stories). Nathan, Amber, Calli, Bayley and Quinn, thank you for your cooperation and the many vacations we enjoyed together.
My husband, Bob, my vacation partner and best friend—thank you for believing in me before I could believe in myself.
I thank the Lord Jesus for His ever-revealing presence in my life.

You know what it’s like having a family-the laundry, the vast number of shoes, the socks that got away, the talking-all-at-once gab sessions, the lack of time to do it all.
Once the travel bug bit me the first time, I presumed I could plan it all in a day, amid the clutter of my kitchen, and the sticky hands of five sweet children under the age of 10. When, for instance, I was on the phone trying to get prices for a rental property, I was stopped in my tracks because I heard one or more voices cooing loudly for peanut butter
