    About the Author

Timothy S. Jones is an author, psychotherapist, and entrepreneur—par excellence. With a heart to reach into the hearts of his audience, he pours what is in him onto the open expanse of paper. An avid student of fine literature, Timothy diverges himself into various genres, especially with a defined focus in spiritual self-help and African-American literature. Timothy’s hope for all of his readers are that they be drawn into a different world of literary art, but most importantly, they walk away with a new understanding of who and what they can be.

In addition to obtaining two degrees from Alabama A&M University—Forestry Science (B.S.) and Counseling Psychology (M.S.)—Timothy S. Jones is happily married to Erica D. Jones, while living in suburban Huntsville, AL.

From an exuberant childhood in Alabama to his first love, his short-lived sports career, and the emotions that flooded his eyes as he remembered lost loved ones; these experiences were in this book.

    Being Afro-American was an important
