Preparation

The scriptures instruct us to Seek ye first the Kingdom of Heaven.

Mat 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

My observations suggest, to me, that many are still looking for love in all the wrong places.

Jesus of Nazareth proclaimed, Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. Mat 3:2 And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Translated, that means, Change your thinking Heaven is here, now.

In the gospel according to Thomas, Jesus remarks to the disciples, the Kingdom of Heaven is here, now, and all about you, but you see it not. Also, the Kingdom of Heaven is within you.

Luk 17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! Or, lo there! For, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

(This is why the worshiping of ANYTHING outside you, is considered idolatry!)

Now, ideas are real things. Quite tiny, perhaps, but ideas are constructed, in the heavenly estate, from heavenly substance. Like the mustard seed, proper nourishment can cause ideas to grow and manifest.

There are a number of Divine Laws, commonly known and taught, regarding ideas.

The two most salient of these are:

(1) Divine Order. (Do NOT contribute to chaos!)

The following is perhaps the most important Divine law of all!

(2) The Law of Mind action: Thoughts held in mind, multiply (and manifest in the outer) after their own kind.

These laws would indicate, even to the dimmest sheep among you, that you should place your thinking in order, selecting only those ideas, which you wish to manifest and which will edify and bless you.

Be still, and KNOW that I AM GOD

Psa 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

Clearly then, step one is learning to listen to that still, quiet voice. To actually hear that voice, then, you should become still and quiet. This is a form of MEDITATION, to intentionally focus upon and choose to listen to divine guidance and instruction.

My first venture into Transcendental Meditation seemed like a complete failure.

There is, it seems, a specific way to sit, a preparatory toning and breathing phase, and then the clearing of your mind (like erasing a chalkboard) phase. Well, I sat correctly (Lotus position), I breathed deeply, and even "OM’d and HU’d, but just never got my thought stream to become absolutely blank.

When experiencing a Led meditation, I would leave the led pathway of thinking and soar to other heights altogether. At home, with eyes closed, while listening to soft meditation music, and focusing on inner thoughts and breathing deeply, it would usually take about twenty minutes to get past the stored queue of thoughts-to-ponder. After clearing the pipeline, however I would enter into The Silence, and there, would receive instruction from that still, quiet voice.

It told me that a fervent inner focus would place me online to divine mind and that I could intuit wisdom even while performing tasks in the outer. (E.g.: a walking meditation, or a driving meditation, or a washing dishes meditation, etc)

Except for one occasion, Jesus of Nazareth would always ask Wouldst thou be made whole?, Just before his guiding people to their healing. Do you want to be healed?

Joh 5:6 When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?

Desiring the presence of spirit, and openness to accepting the direction of the spirit of truth seem to be key to it actually happening.

I have had wonderful experiences watching TV alone. Once, I was watching the rites of passage of a tribe of African natives. They were dressed for the ceremony, and painted and had begun to jump off the ground, in unison, as they chanted. My thoughts were if they could see just how silly they look doing that, they would stop it altogether. Spirit then suggested that those rites were not for my intellectual musing, but for instruction, and further, that I should do likewise. So, I was up off my sofa, and grunting and jumping, just as the tribesmen were. Shazaam! Suddenly the intuition came streaming through that this was but another way of connecting with Providence by somehow engaging a special mechanism to facilitate that oneness. Why, this was similar to the Native American Shaman in the sweat lodge. Both of these activities would raise the body temperature, both people would chant (energetically!), and in so doing would activate the same mechanism.

One meditation had informed me that both groups were using these rituals to teach the body how to perfect a spiritual art called milking the Cobra. Imagine if you will, that there is a live Cobra, integrated into the body’s torso, which will provide supernatural power, if you know just how to extract that essence. Imagine, much like using a tube of toothpaste, that you squeeze, starting at the serpent’s tail and moving up toward the snake’s mouth, until this essence comes forth.

Those jumps and chants actually train some very specific bodily muscles to perform in ways other than usually employed.

Think of this specialized set of muscles as two separate diaphragms to squeeze your organs with which to produce an orderly, sequenced, compression of air. One set works just fine for normal breathing, but both are needed for the kind of breath support required for powerful singing or toning. (As a note, the symbolic reverence given to quartz crystals acknowledges the process (ritual) of using "the

The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra once came to the college I was attending and played for a dance.

Warren Covington (Tommy Dorsey’s successor) was the group’s leader then, and was also the feature trombone soloist.

It was long rumored that Warren could go for several weeks at a time without any practice whatsoever, then would pick up the instrument and play perfectly. I witnessed just such a performance. Frank Sinatra sang with the Dorsey big band for a while and noticed the same pattern. He asked Warren how he was able to do that. Warren’s answer consisted of only two words "breath
