a note to the reader
bone
reclaiming the lost pieces of me
volcanoes
in the eyes of others
band of gold in the bag
we just have different maps to get there
listening for the one who cares
the warmth and the weight of you
reconciling sin
on the threshold of something new
into the uncertainty
you can’t be too careful
harbor
breath
who and what is guiding me
i am grateful for the breath in you
me, in the past tense
at last
the wanting that is waking
lean into the loving
one breath is enough
immersing and emerging
if we are not attentive, language takes the place of experiencing
Reconstruction of Desire
if i close my eyes the truth is familiar
i am the only one breathing inside my home
no now without then
heart
hourglass: a last love poem
what we exchange for safety
what they don’t tell you about love
being held and belonging
the body remembers being loved
breathed into life with a witness
they kissed us each goodbye
