About this ebook
Aly Rios is an artist who has worked with preschoolers and knows that through painting and drawing, children learn to express emotions and feelings in a way that is often more difficult to achieve with words. With instructions written in English and Spanish, children are provided free zones to express themselves and fun illustrations with simple instructions like:draw clouds over the city or draw funny shoes on the cow or paint the water falling over the flowers that allow children to rely on art to create and imagine the world from their own perspective.
When a child learns to use their imagination, ideas flow and magic happens not only in paper but also in their lives.. I Imagine, I Create encourages young people to let their imagination fly and allows them to feel the joy of expressing themselves in their own unique way.

I graduated from English American School in Guatemala City with an emphasis in Literature and Science. In 2002, I started MuralesAly, a company that specializes in children’s rooms and interior home decoration. I worked at a kindergarten giving English classes to preschoolers where I developed a huge interest in kids imagination. My involvement with their daily activity sheets, calendar design and planning educational work shops helped them obtain a sense of uniqueness and to feel free to express them selves. As an artist, I know that through painting and drawing we can express emotions and feelings in a way that sometimes is hard to do with words. Since our daughter was born, I have tried to give her the opportunity to use art to create and imagine the world from her own perspective. As we paint together, her imagination, dreams and funny moments create something magical. I made this book in Santiago Chile where we are raising our lovely daughter. She is my inspiration I dedicate this book to Bianca and Joe. You are my everything!
